I suppose that incompetence does not equal wrongdoing.

Funny, the report is not yet released and a Democrat says there is nothing in it and everybody automatically believes him.

Why. Now.

Shaking my head.

I realize the source for the article regarding the results of the investigation is a dem. He is giving the media their talking points prior to Gowdy’s hearings.

But still, why even release the report before Gowdy’s hearings, which start in early September? That's on the heads of the Republicans on the committee.

Per the article “U.S. intelligence agencies will have to approve making the report public.”

I can see this play out now:

1. Committee votes to make report public.
2. The talking points from Thompson are really nothing new. The dems have been claiming these points all along.
3. Intelligence Agencies either do not approve release of report or redact it in such a way that the only items made public are those which obliquely support points made by Thompson.

The dem strategy to fight the findings of the Benghazi select committee is to taint the jury pool in the court of public opinion.

By voting for the release of the report, the GOP fell for it (or went along with it) hook, line & sinker.

Well the “burglars” at Watergate didn’t get much of anything either but it was the “LIES” that brought down Nixon.

I get it, failing to protect, failing to respond, lying about the cause and covering it up for weeks, no wrongdoing.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Careful EVERYONE!

Read the article. This report has not been declassified for release and the said Congressman is speaking out of nothing but to set the narrative in front of the real release to declare it “old news”. Said Congressman should be hung for espionage and treason immediately for to give his talking points to help the lawless administration.

Consider the source of the San Francisco Gate news rag.

WITH THAT BEING SAID, I will still stand that everyone who commented on the snippet provided had credible reasons for believing the GOPe would honestly do something like this to protect the overall establishment which further demands we throw them all out.

Somebody tell me again that any Republican is better than a Democrat, and why I MUST vote for the “R.”

Question of the day/year/century/eternity:

What computers did the CIA NOT hack into?

It is not a question which will be answered or even asked by the GOP members of the House, Senate and SCOTUS who have bowed to the will of Obama, aka Hackees.

The Chicago Way.

The House Intelligence Committee, led by Republicans, has concluded that...”Thompson said the report “confirms that no one was deliberately misled, no military assets were withheld and no stand-down order (to U.S. forces) was given.” …”

All complete and total lies, and we all know it.

We know the administration lied about the cause of the attack.
We know military assets were withheld.
We know military assets were told not to go in.

Every person on that committee is a Republican, yet, they lied.

Mike Rogers, Chairman, Michigan, Republican
Mac Thornberry, Texas, Republican
Jeff Miller, Florida, Republican
Mike Conaway, Texas, Republican
Peter King, New York, Republican
Frank LoBiondo, New Jersey, Republican
Devin Nunes, California, Republican
Lynn Westmoreland, Georgia, Republican
Michele Bachmann, Minnesota, Republican
Thomas J Rooney, Florida, Republican
Joe Heck, Nevada, Republican
Mike Pompeo, Kansas, Republican

Someone want to tell me why I should ever vote for another Republican? ANY Republican?

It might be small consolation, but this is a liberal paper’s interpretation of the report.

This makes me sick. They carried on for years that they had something, I watched the hearings, I heard retired officers implying that help was available but with held. Hillary’s show. They wound up the troops. Now on Saturday morning without any warning, the Republican lead House Intelligence Committee says nothing is there.
This is no way to lead the troops. There is going to be a lot of pissed off Conservatives.
That’s all for now, going for a walk

GOPe in particular and republicans in general have proven their worthlessness. (The GOPe effectively controls the republican party.)

Only the few republicans that also claim tea party affiliation or are openly anti-GOPe are worth a damn.

It is time for the tea party to openly drive for separation from the GOPe and demand policy changes and changes in leadership positions, in exchange for each bit of cooperation. no ,ore go along to get along. Seniority should no longer be a qualification for committee chairmanships! - just the opposite in fact.

Why is this report being released before Gowdy’s Benghazi hearings?

I thought the point of those hearings was to answer those questions that this report claims have been established beyond dispute.

[Art.] ....said Rep. Mike Thompson of St. Helena, the second-ranking Democrat on the committee.

Spin much, Mikey? Is that Nancy Pelosi in your pocket, or are you just glad to see Valerie Jarrett?
