TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona executioners injected Joseph Rudolph Wood with a lethal combination of drugs 15 times during the nearly two hours it took for him to die, according to documents released Friday.
Records released to Wood's attorneys show he was administered the sedative midazolam and the painkiller hydromorphone in 50-milligram increments 15 times between 1:53 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., for a total of 750 milligrams of each drug. He was pronounced dead at 3:49 p.m. after gasping more than 600 times while he lay on the table.

Because of the duration, he missed the deadline to apply for Osamacare, and now the prison's gonna have to pay a fine.
50 mg of dilaudid is an extremely large dose. His IV must not have been working right. Usually .5 to 1.0 mg is given for severe pain IV .

i’d rather just stuff them in an airtight metal box. co2 poisoning. many that have co2 poisoning get really happy loopy too, so no chance of cruel punishment being tossed out.

Stuff him in a secure, rat infested cell, without food or water.
Come back in 6 months to scoop up the bones and throw ‘em in the dump.

The old Thai style of 15 full auto rounds in the back from a tripod mounted MG worked pretty well.
Any shot, regardless the caliber, to the head or heart works for me.

They injected him with 3.3 POUNDS of those drugs and he stayed alive? Almost a quart each?

Gas chamber sounds good to me, pump in a little propane and flick the igniter and give him a preview of coming attractions. Not very Christian of me but murdering a father and daughter should rate a horrific end, who watched who die first? I cannot imagine watching someone I love being murdered in front of me and me powerless to prevent it.
XINXIANG CITY, CHINA. JUNE 9, 2014 – A lost cell phone has left two people dead and several others injured in China.It happened after a woman dropped her new cell phone into an “open pit” toilet, according to the South China Morning Post.
When her husband tried to retrieve it from the pit, which was knee-deep in sewage, he was knocked unconscious by the smell. His mother went in to rescue him and also fainted.
The woman, her father-in-law and two neighbors also jumped in and all fainted.
All six people were rescued when neighbors lower a rope into the pit. The woman’s husband and mother-in-law died at the hospital. Two others were also hospitalized.

In my previous life, my end of choice would have involved the Dallas Cheerleaders and a hot tub.
Nitrogen Asphyxiation - 99% nitrogen (cheap welding gas) pumped through a breathing mask at 1.1 atmospheres until the brain waves go flat. Condemned passes out painlessly and dies within a few min. No blood spatter, all natural, no chemicals, etc.
I suggest testing the drugs prior to the execution on those that support the killers like say actor Mike Farrell.
Put them under general anesthesia and then freeze them.
Put them under general anesthesia and then open up their chest and pull out their heart.
Put them under general anesthesia and then cut off their head.
Put them under general anesthesia and then asphyxiate them in a nitrogen bag.
Put them under general anesthesia and then OD them with heroin.
This ain't that hard if the goal is for them to not suffer (and why that's the goal I'm not sure).
