The reason Ted Cruz fought against it, and why many followed him, was because the provision had no measure against an expected executive order from Obama granting amnesty to millions.
As soon as illegals started flooding in Boehner should have said the president cannot be trusted on immigration therefore there will be no immigration bill as long as this president is in office.

That bill wold have been another victory for Jarrett and Obama who are now overseeing the closure of our borders to Jews by denying them visas in Israel. WTG Muslim Marxists!

Where did that info come from? Could it be that this is info was floated out in hopes that we would all pressure the House to NOT give funding for the border. Then, while congress is on vaca, Obama spends the entire month bashing the Republicans for “doing nothing.” “hating” etc etc etc....
I think the key is to call House members and demand another “Don’t Go” movement like in 208. Where the House stays open as they take turns being there— BUT- the reason they are there is because they have a bill that would address the border situation- the CRUZ way...and they are willing to stay there until the House passes the bill, the Senate passes the bill, and Obama signs it.
I am calling DC offices and asking them to do this...Us FREEPers lead the way for this in 2008 and made it happen...I just wonder if we are the same folks, or if we have become weak and wore out and are unwilling to try???

Just heard that the House GOPers are not going home in attempts to get this bill passed this weekend. Then... when the Senate blocks it they can pretend that they did all they could do. Which is BS, of course. Giving any $$$ to Obama for the open border invasion is just another waste of taxpayer dollars and a travesty, considering the illegal invasion we are being inflicted with....and it’s all for show.
