A group dedicated to saving the planet by cutting runaway population increases is raising a new and shocking issue in Washingtons bitter fight over immigration reform: Most of the nations population growth is from immigrants, and they are consuming resources dangerously fast.
According to Negative Population Growth Inc., 80 percent of the growth in U.S. population comes from immigration, legal, illegal and among American-born children of immigrants...
... "Our nation is already vastly overpopulated, said Mann. The evidence is all around us: Millions are out of work, schools and hospitals are overcrowded, our natural resources are dwindling, pollution is increasing, and our infrastructure and social services are crumbling under the strain. Yet U.S. population is still growing by an average of over 6,600 people per day, and nearly 2.5 million people per year. We simply cannot afford to continue our growth. It is unsustainable, and irresponsible policies are the driving force behind it."...

No.
It IS that we are allowing too many immigrants.
The more people, the less freedom.
The more people the more rules and laws you need to keep everyone from stepping on each others toes.
The more laws you will need to have to "share" resources and to ration resources.
Wake up. Geez.
I believe we are going to require a period of lawlessness to correct decades of lawlessness. Some people will need to be expelled, notwithstanding their theft of a claimed right to be here.
You’re being incrementally replaced...
This is not complex.
Even tops officials at the IRS consider American to be dangerous terrorist...
They want a population of easily appeased, easily led, who seldom complain or question government, who are content with low wages, token government handouts etc....
Absolutely...People in certain states think big populations and lots of stoop labor jobs are fantastic...
They’ll find out what all that brings...
Bump
It’ll be worse than than that I’m afraid!
We will need a reconquista of our own to get things straightened out.
Folks who doubt this are in for a surprise.
There are some people out there who think we won't be overpopulated so long as you can literally stack people like cordwood, and who see pollution control laws, the rising price of energy, and the growth of government as something the evil left does for fun, just to make our lives miserable.
And not because all those are designed mostly to counter the stresses of overpopulation.
Outside of India and China, no other country on earth is packed with as many people as is the U.S.A.
Worse, the population density of New Jersey exceeded that of China years ago--but some people will blame the loss of freedom and bloated government in New Jersey, on some kind of socialist plot.
You bet, just look at your big population centers...
People in those places are regulated and controlled far beyond what small rural populations are by a series of magnitudes..

In 2006, Illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin.
Not necessarily true. People can be well behaved without a myriad of laws. It's more of a cultural issue.
If the folks who populate NJ continue down the path of socialism and leftism then yes I’d agree with you.
Not sold on the idea of overpopulation so long as the culture remains conservative & the values are conservative.
I would much prefer a nation of 400 million who are dogmatically conservative than a nation of 50 million liberals.
It’s not shocking to me that 80% of our population growth is from ILLEGAL immigrants, nor that our resources are being sucked dry.
Indeed !!
