America needs to hear the tape. That way it may be determined if there is a fifteen minute gap (aka Nixon). Know the tape will not be forthcoming thereby leaving the question of is it real or not real.
I won’t comment as to whether the tape is fake or not. I’m just saying the arrogance of BO as quoted is very much within his character.

Why believe that in the face of historic events to the contrary?
Because it’s a basic part of their worldview. If this isn’t true, their whole worldview house of cards collapses.
So, even if it is proven wrong one more time, and you rubbed their noses in it, they would not change their belief that it will be that way - that if the strong stop being strong, the weak who are attacking them will stop being violent.
