John Kerry, the U.S. Secretary of State, flew to the Middle East to press for a ceasefire between the democratic country of Israel, and the terrorist group Hamas.
Of course, Kerry cannot put pressure on a terrorist group. Theyre terrorists. So he presses the democracy to make concessions.
The chief concession being, of course, to stop fighting a terrorist group.
Would the United States sign an immediate ceasefire against al-Qaida? A great, liberal democracy, signing an agreement not to shoot or bomb or drone nihilistic terrorists who murdered nearly 3,000 U.S. civilians on 9/11, and who have killed as many U.S. soldiers since?
Of course not. Its absurd to suggest. But how is that any different than asking Israel to sign a ceasefire with its terrorist enemies?
Actually, it is different al-Qaida has not made an attack on U.S. soil in more than 12 years. Hamas fires rockets at Israeli civilians every hour.
By the way, Israel actually has agreed to ceasefires with Hamas including ones brokered by the UN and Arab League. But Hamas is not interested in ceasing to fire on Israel. That is in fact its only purpose.
Hating Jews isnt a means to an end for Hamas. It is the entire goal.
The official constitution of Hamas is as anti-Semitic as Mein Kampf . Its much shorter than Adolf Hitlers manifesto, but even more psychopathic. It literally calls for the murder of Jews, 12 different times.
A ceasefire is not in Hamas interests, other than to temporarily regroup and to attack again.
Carl von Clausewitz, the Prussian general and philosopher, said the purpose of war is peace just peace on the terms of the victor. All the tactics of killing are aimed to achieve a world after the killing stops. But for Hamas, the tactics of murder are the whole point. They dont want peace with Jews. They just want to kill them.
Which is why they are terrorists; and which is why they do not follow other customs of war, such as sparing civilians. To Hamas, every Jew is an enemy even civilians, even women and children.
Hamas doesnt much value the lives of Palestinians either. Actually, thats not true. It deeply values the lives of Palestinians, but only insofar as they can become casualties in any Israeli counterattack to Hamas terrorism. More than 100 Hamas rockets have gone astray and landed in Palestinian Gaza. They dont give a damn about that. But if an Israeli response to a Hamas rocket kills an innocent Palestinian civilian why, that is the most valuable achievement Hamas can hope for, other than killing Jews. Because Hamas is sophisticated enough to know that this war is being won and lost not on the battlefield, but in the talk shops of the UN and the White House.
Thats why Hamas places its rockets in civilians areas, stores them in schools and mosques, and demands that civilians present themselves as human shields to their terrorist infrastructure.
They are truly the new Nazis fuelled by hate, diabolical in tactics. And they share the goal of a Jew-free world Judenrein, as it was called in the original German. A world clean of Jews."
That is with whom John Kerry is pressing Israel to sign a ceasefire.
Whos side are you on?

There is no peace with ISLAM.
Would the United States sign an immediate ceasefire against al-Qaida
For all intents and purposes, this administration pretty much has declared a ceasefire with al-Qaida. They send a drone strike out now and again to get their attention ... then invite the Muslim Brotherhood to a White Hut Gala.
Talk about mixed messages.
Hamas is irrelevant, its just one of the numerous groups continuously attacking israel over the last 50-60 years. The attacks continue and will continue because there has been no decisive victory by either side. Tit for tat attacks have resulted in 60 years of stalemate. The Pali’s need to be CRUSHED, made to scream for peace and to beg the Israelis to stop killing them. They have to know they have been defeated. Then there will be peace for both sides.
