GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The call came in Thursday.
A handful of Grand Prairie residents called the school district and city hall, wondering who left this message on their home answering machines: "As you may know, the Grand Prairie Independent School District is actively working on a proposal from the Obama administration to convert Grand Prairie ISD's Lamar Alternative Education facility into a relocation center for undocumented immigrants being relocated from the Texas/Mexico border."
The message went on to tell those who received it to share feedback or ask questions by calling the GPISD School Board President Terry Brooks. Then it repeated a phone number to reach him. It is not a working number, but it used to be Brooks' home number.
"That message did not come from us," said GPISD spokesman Sam Buchmeyer. "We know this issue is polarizing and there are strong opinions on both sides, so when we heard there was a phone call going out into the community, it's not that we were surprised. We thought it was unusual, and we're concerned people were confusing it for one of our messages."

Finally someone’s using their noggin.
I think anyone who supports keeping and sheltering these kids should be required to take at least one in and pay all the costs for the entire time the kid is in the USA — into adulthood or beyond.
I like it!
It appears the calls are relaying the correct information.
Yes, indeed. Hit 'em where they live.
Well, so far they haven’t called me and I live about 4 miles from their proposed holding pen. I sure hope we don’t get them here! I have two grandchildren in Grand Prairie schools.
Haven’t seen His Arrogance and Moo take in any little brownies yet, or for that matter: Gates, Buffett, Clinton, Kerry-Heinz, Slow Joe Biden family, any of the Hollywood hypocrites ... Progressives lack compassion and a sense of charity.
My recollection is that libtards tend to be the ultimate NIMBYs.
I hope everyone knows that they are starting to build facilities to house unescorted minors that won’t be completed for a year. The wave is being seen to continue over time and become larger.
