The popular agriculture company Monsanto is partnering with First Lady Michelle Obama to promote nutritional foods for kids. According to reports from the Associated Press, Monsanto will spend $50 million over five years on a campaign to market healthy genetically modified food to children.

That is exactly what I was thinking! They are literally rabidly against Monsanto/GMO anything. And I can’t blame them in many cases one bit. Who wants to eat ‘round-up’ corn?

this ia real head scratcherI have a theory that's kinder than most at FR about Michelle's nutritional initiatives.
I think she means well. I'm just not as sure that she's knowledgable enough to know stuff like how bad GMOs are or that schools feeding students instead of parents being responsible for providing healthy foods is counterproductive.
Another thing is she's as awful as her husband at understanding what the gov should be doing for people and what people should be doing for themselves.
