The Obama administration is considering a move that, according to Mark Krikorian, the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, "would increase, not stem, the flood of migrants from Central America trying to get into the United States". “It’s clearly a bad idea,” Mr. Krikorian said. “Orders of magnitude more people will apply for refugee status if they can just do it from their home countries.” He added that the proposal would allow people to claim to be refugees from their countries with “nothing more than a bus ride to the consulate. We’re talking about, down the road, an enormous additional flow of people from those countries.” The move may also fly in the face of the traditional legal definition of precisely who qualifies as a refugee. The preliminary plan could create a thorny challenge for the administration because the definition of a refugee is legally specific, and children fleeing street gangs could have a hard time qualifying. In effect, the plan would establiish a screening center in Honduras and allow for the direct transport of individuals into the U.S. if it were determined they qualified for refugee status.

Just sent this email to my rep....Kevin McCarthy. Fat lot of good it will do.
So Obama is just going to declare Hondurans as refugees. What are you going to do about it? What the heck good are you guys and what are we paying you for? Apparently Congress is not needed for anything anymore so all your pay and perks should just be taken away. The American taxpayers (me!) are getting hosed to the tune of billions of dollars and apparently no one gives a crap. What a waste you all are. Well I sure won’t waste my vote anymore.
Good for you! The Republicans prove we have no representation for a multitude of reasons. They want Obamacare, they hate the tea party so will not fight the IRS, they want to please the Chamber of Crony Capitalism so they prefer to replace American workers with foreign workers and Obama provides the cover for them while they act outraged.

What if a million conservatives showed up at the consulate with NO DOCUMENTS and NO ID, all claiming to be Hondurans and all requesting asylum?

How do you stop a man who cares nothing about his opinion polls, reputation, legacy, the rule of law or the will of the people? Such a man is unaccountable. Perhaps his SS detail has an answer?
