Before there is any further discussion of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, its important that one point be made absolutely clear:
This plane crash is a result of the Russian invasion of eastern Ukraine, an operation deliberately designed to create legal, political and military chaos.
Without this chaos, a surface-to-air missile would not have been fired at a passenger plane.
From the beginning, the Russian government did not send regular soldiers to Ukraine. Instead, it sent Russian mercenaries and security service operatives such as Igor Strelkov the commander in chief in Donetsk and a Russian secret police colonel who fought in both Chechen wars ...
With the help of local thugs, these Russian security men besieged police stations, government offices and other symbols of political authority to delegitimize the Ukrainian state.
In this task, they were assisted by the Russian government and by Russias state-controlled mass media, both of which still constantly denigrate Ukraine ...
Into this ambiguous and unstable situation, the Russians cynically funneled a stream of heavy weapons: machine guns and artillery and, eventually, tanks, armed personnel carriers and anti-aircraft missiles....
Indeed, Strelkov on Thursday afternoon reportedly boasted online of having taken down another military plane before realizing that the plane in question was MH17. The blog post was removed.
In late June, several different Russian media sources published photographs of Buk anti-aircraft missiles that they said had been captured by the separatists though they were probably outright gifts from Russia. These posts have also been removed.
This is the context within which a surface-to-air missile was aimed at a passenger plane: a lawless environment; irregular soldiers who might not be so good at reading radar; a nihilistic disregard for human life; scorn for international norms, rules or standards ....

IMHO, the real problem isn't finding the bad guys, it's finding any good ones in charge of anything as opposed to rolling with the punches or keeping their heads down.
“It appears that Kiev-Nazi-made explosion was so violent it make all victims’ wristwatches fly off.”
You stay classy.
It’s called “thinking” and paying attention to the dynamics..both politically and in the war theater. Some know more than others.....you might try your hand at posting something of interest.
Isn't that the truth! But I think it won't be long before this theater will be changing.....might get more volatile but I think there's much ready to fall into place that wasn't possible til now.
....”Putin has an excuse to get out. Will he do it?”....
Of course not...he’s going to send more in and this with the International Leaders approval to bring calm to the area, which initially will mean more fighting to get all deadbeats out......who else is going to do it?...and we said it would play this way in the beginning.
"It appears that Kiev-Nazi-made explosion was so violent it make all victims' wristwatches fly off."
Actually, having seen some of the unblurred photos, I know that a number of the victims landed naked or nearly so, their clothes having been torn off by the air.
<>this theatre... might get more volatile but I think there’s much ready to fall into place that wasn’t possible til now.
“fall into place” of “fall from the sky”
Actually, I [tcrlaf] said from the beginning that the rebels accidently shot it down.

I used to subscribe to RTs YouTube feed. Not any more. Their propaganda is aweful covering Gaza.
Yeah, he’s so devout, man. These people make me want to retch when they start trying to tell me Putin’s the great Christian hope. He’d be for Islam, Hinduism, or Druidism if it’d gain him more statist power. He’s like Obama in that regard.
She wrote a book about the Gulag and the Cold War too. I’m sure you’re not happy about that too. She didn’t support the soviet/Putin version. Putin said the collapse of the Soviet Union was the worst thing to happen in the 20th Century. But that terrible Applebaum said awful things about the Soviets in both of her books. She’s really, really mean.
"But I think it won't be long before this theater will be changing...."
You could well be right, time to settle for half a glass but no less, sure.
Alexandr Solzhenitsyn is all wrong about Putin but Anne has it nailed.
Gotcha, the democrat or RINO is always right.
Nice try. Keep up the word-parsing and selective fact-picking. I’m sure some of your fellow Putin cabin boys are impressed.
Repeat:...you might try your hand at posting something of interest.
You can have whatever opinion you want about Applepaum....IMO she’s a liberal and there’s plenty others who have written better works regarding the Soviet Union...which is she primarily her subject matter....Russia on the other hand is another story better left to others than she.
As far as what Putin said regarding the fall of the Soviet Union...you might consider reading the entire context of where he is quoted regarding that statement.
(tsk-chuckle)
Well I was hoping he would because if he doesn’t a lot of people are going to die IMO. But I expect you disagree. You approve of clearing out deadbeats? Why? And who are they?
He was wrong about Stalin also. But he changed his mind.
Putin and Solzhenitsyn very publicly agreed that Stalin was a ruthless madman who pulled Russia up by it's bootstraps but who also slaughtered millions of Russians for no reason (only a Russian could think, "on the one hand, but on the other . . .", about Stalin).
They also very publicly agreed Russia has a destiny that requires authoritarian leadership, Christian values, and predominently Slavic citizens, to fulfill. That's why Putin asked lawmakers in Russia to make Solzhenitsyn required reading in High Schools and they did so.
Putin rides propaganda about him being like Stalin to a lot of little victories, though, so I'm sure he doesn't mind a bit.
You see you are a Putinista and a Putin apologist for the former KGB Colonel, thug, and dictator.
