Ohio State University has fired the director of its marching band and is expanding an internal investigation that uncovered a deep culture of sexual harassment among students that reportedly has existed for years.
The two-month investigation, triggered by the complaint of a parent, revealed a cascade of evidence that students routinely harassed one another often directed at new band members by older students and that director Jonathan Waters knew about it or should have known.
Waters, 38, was ousted from his post effective today, OSU President Michael V. Drake said. Details of the investigation are laid out in a 23-page report obtained by The Dispatch.

Hi.
This should be an excerpt, Admin. Can you fix that?
“reportedly has existed for years”
Our culture is changing so rapidly. Soon we will need permission for everything, so that no one is upset over anything.
This is speech codes, thought control, being enacted.
LOL!!!!!!!
Need permission to “sexually harrass”? What exactly did they do?
One would think after what happen with the hazing at a marchign bank at one of those HBCU resulting in death people in leadership would learnt the lesson.
I would guess that the younger ones were teased by the older kids, not necessarily in an explicitly sexual way- could be some guy makes a comment about a girl’s appearance, some girl makes a snide comment like “So do you have hair in YOUR palms?” That’s apparently now forbidden, but that was common when I was in school, teasing and joking with people.
Ding! Ding! We have a winner.
I suppose the silver lining in all this is that no one was killed (ala the Florida A&M Marching Band)...
I’d wager its far more than ‘teasing’. Especially considering the gay brainwashing that goes on.
He's the big-headed fellow standing next to the guy with the baton.
Read the article, what they did is spelled out in disgusting detail.
Obviously some Michigan student had a lot of time on their hands...LOL!
Yeah this one is pretty darn graphic - http://www.dispatch.com/content/downloads/2014/07/Exhibit_B_-_Marching_Band_songbook_xgraphic_languagex.pdf
Rape, gay sex, bestiality, is just the start.
Any scandals involving the band reflect, indirectly, on the football program, and may result in fewer donations from the alumni and supporters.
It still does not compare to the “hazing” at FAMU: the drum major, Robert Champion, was beaten to death, the band leader fired and the president of the university fired. Those suspected of actually killing the guy got suspended sentences.
I really hope it was something that tame
