EDISTO, SC Lowcountry businessman and independent U.S. Senate candidate Thomas Ravenel responded today to incumbent Republican Lindsey Grahams assertion that running for the U.S. Senate was not a reality television show.
Ravenel, star of the Bravo TV show Southern Charm, said Graham was part of a much costlier reality TV show.
The difference between my reality TV show and Lindsey Grahams reality TV show is simple: his is costing taxpayers trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives, Ravenel said. And unlike my show, you cant change the channel when his show comes on and you cant stop paying for it either.
Ravenel added, Ill take Southern Charm over Lindsey Grahams Adventures in Nation Building any day of the week, and so would most taxpayers.
Ravenel said he would be launching a new competition on his website www.RavenelforSenate.com in which South Carolinians could submit their own names for Grahams reality show.

No. Reality shows are less trashy.
Looks more like a game of Fantasy football.
Maybe he’ll get one when he’s thrown out of the Senate.
Or he’ll get a spot on Dancing With the Stars......................
Or
The Real Housewives of DC......................
From a convicted cocaine user.
The most amazing thing about light-loafered Lindsey is that he originally ran for congress literally on a term-limits platform. He SWORE that he was just a country lawyer from SC who was going to congress for no more than a few years. The problem with DC was the entrenched incumbent class, etc etc.
Somebody should dig up those original campaign ads.
I get your point, but is he wrong?
I’m not judging the person, hell I’m not someone who could vote in the election, and truth be told I have enough sucky choices as it is in California. I simply stated I understood cotton1706’s point but questioned as to whether that invalidated the point being made.
I disagree, in addition to being a cokehead, he’s a Paulbot. I do NOT prefer that to Graham, we can agree to disagree like we did 6 years ago.
The only way I would support this cokehead Paulbot would be if he were polling ahead of Graham, and behind the democrat, which won’t happen. A cokehead is just not a viable candidate, outside of DC. I don’t think any great number of people will vote for this guy, he’ll get a lower percentage than that clown Pressler in SD, I’d bet.
Graham will win, unless this loser gets WAY more votes than I think he will, in which case Hutto will win.
This was race was lost for conservatives when no one worthwhile filed against Graham in the primary. I’d advise people to sit it out if they must rather than waste effort trying to help this druggie’s joke of a campaign.
