This is what liberalism is.. Similar to what I say every year about the academy awards: Liberals arrive in limousines 20 feet long, the women step out in a wear-once $30,000 dress and $1,000,000 worth of jewelry, then they all go inside and bash Republicans for greedily using more than their fair share of the world's resources.

When I was in high school (early 70’s), I was questioning what liberalism was becoming, especially with the increasing dropping of “heavy head trips”. I had asked “Had liberalism become someone stabbing you in the back, cutting you off at the knees, and having the gall to say ‘it’s for your own good’?”

One of the greatest faults of liberalism is the failure of liberals to realize that the great majority of people who fail, fail themselves. Liberals love to makes claims about millions of “victims” who cannot succeed because some outside force (capitalism, evil white males, Christians) are oppressing the poor people. Nobody is responsible for their problems...except of course capitalists, evil white males, and Christians.
