Texas Sen. Ted Cruz confirmed Thursday that he will be joining Glenn Beck and Mercury One at the border in McAllen, Texas, on Saturday to feed, clothe, and provide toys for illegal immigrant children.
Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for the senator, told TheBlaze in an email: Tens of thousands of children are being smuggled into the United States by dangerous drug cartels and transnational gangs it is heartless to allow that to continue.
But while we work to reverse the policies that have caused this tragedy, it is important we recognize the human element of this crisis, and Sen. Cruz is glad to join Glenn Beck and Mercury One in that effort to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing, Frazier continued.

Good. Maybe they’ll both accidentally step over and the Messicans will grab them. Just like that Marine that’s still there.
Ted Crux supports legalizing illegal aliens here now.
I have no problem with it, as long as its communicated they must leave.
Problem is you have Christie and others in the GOPe who are outright sayin’ we must give them amnesty.
YOu can show some compassion but also put a foot down and draw a line.
Is Beck trying to get on the Federal gravy train too?
I don’t trust Cruz.
It’s been reported elsewhere on FR that 65% of the kids have been approved for asylum status.
LOL, I like your posts.
I loved Glenn Becks 5pm FNC show from 2009 through 2010.
It was a blast. Those blackboard and table sessions cracked me up.
I was able to watch it at the gym each day after work back then.
Anything short of a blockade is a disappointment.
RE: Ted Crux supports legalizing illegal aliens here now.
Here is how I see Cruz’s actions.
1) He is SPONSORING a BILL, a legislation to shut down President Obamas Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Cruz offered his bill as a plan to end the border crisis and the suffering that takes place south of the border as children travel to the United States by thwarting Obamas policy of acting as if the DREAM Act has already passed.
2) However, he still sees the need to PERSONALLY see to it that these children are shown compassion ( not by using tax payer money I might add ).
You feed and kids, heal them when they are sick, but still SEND THEM HOME.
I don’t see any conflict or contradictions in his actions IF Cruz does that.

Has Sen Cruz called for feeding and then sending these “kids” home?
Glenn Beck has proven himself a nut job.
I don’t know why Cruz is hooking up with him. SMH. Palin and Cruz are seen together quite a bit.
SEE HERE:
Blaming a recent surge in young border-crossers on the president, Sen. Ted Cruz waded into the crisis Thursday with a bill to reverse a 2012 order protecting child migrants from deportation.
The staggering conditions that children are being subjected to are a direct result of the amnesty that President Obama illegally and unilaterally enacted in 2012, which caused the number of unaccompanied minors to skyrocket, Cruz said. The only way to stop the border crisis is to stop President Obamas amnesty.
Lookin' forward to Glenn's report.
Feeding these people is the same as encouraging the actions. Cruz and Beck are both doing it for show and I think it’s a huge mistake for them.
