At least 50 people carting weapons, flags and posters expressing anger with the porous border took to Vassar, Mich., streets to rally against a plan to ship some of the illegal minor-aged immigrants to their community.
Many in the crowd carried AR-15 rifles and handguns — the latest sign of the growing unrest around the nation that’s marking the federal government’s response to tens of thousands of illegals crossing into U.S. territories in recent months. They also carted “Don’t Tread on Me” flags and a “Second Amendment Revolution” flag, a design that includes the basic Betsy Ross pattern with the Roman number II and a circle of 13 stars, Raw Story reported.

I understand however it will used against you. The message of the protest will be lost as the MSM focuses the protesters. Its already started.
Whatever, guns are familiar here and it makes no difference to us.
Forget the kids they are not the issue. I would protest in front of whatever federal elected official office is near by or even their house. Demand he/she do something to fix the situation. If they are an amnesty supporter make them choke on it.

There is literally NOTHING you can do that the media will not construe into a negative, because you are trying to co-opt people who DO NOT WANT to concede you have a grievance, and they are willing to cheat to make you look bad! No "protest" is ever going to work so long as the MSM is counted on to be the delivery system to the rest of the country.
How do you think a bunch of old ladies in lawn chairs became foaming mouthed racists; it was a non-stop advertising campaign using news services as retailers.

This administration has proven itself time and again to be as spineless as it is mendacious. Obummer will always back down. Keep pushing the envelope, patriots. I’m so proud that these Michigan patriots are my countrymen. God bless them all.
