Incoming: You won’t believe progressives’ latest assault on the Constitution

Every now and then I come across a story so unbelievable, it’s simply laughable beyond all comprehension. Here’s the latest.

Progressive socialists have revealed themselves to America for who they are and regardless of the media manipulation, lies, deceit, and coercion their agenda is failing — as it has worldwide.

So what’s their next step? Well, according to a piece in the Washington Post by E J Dionne, “Its time for Progressives to reclaim the Constitution.” Really?? Dionne advocates for progressives to enshrine themselves in the fundamental document of our Republic, the U.S. Constitution.

Excuse my vernacular, but I just had to get up from ROTFLMAO.

So let’s understand this absurd proposal: Mr. Dionne is advising progressives to embrace the very thing that their love child Barack Hussein Obama stated he wanted to “fundamentally transform.” And let’s not forget the recent 9-0 smack down of Obama by the Supreme Court — the interpreters of our Constitution.

“Its time for Progressives to reclaim the Constitution.”

?!?!?!?!

They HATE the Constitution...

..unless maybe they’re talking about the old Constitution from the Soviet Union.

Or maybe the rules that the pigs wrote on the walls in Animal Farm.

For a start, liberals might have their president actually read it.

If the Obamadork is a constitutional scholar, Biden is a theoretical physicist.

Written rules are absolutely antithetical to the core beliefs of “liberalism”.

The core beliefs are based on the idea that elite humans can be trusted with all the power they need to reform society for the benefit of all.

Liberals love the Constitution. The one that guarantees a right to abortion, that prohibits the free exercise of Christianity, that abolishes the right to keep and bear arms ...

You know ... THAT one.

By “reclaim”, he means “rewrite”. Or redefine, as in “the people” meaning the goverment and/or favored classes, not those hackneyed, time-worn, ancient terms as used by 18th Century white men.

If Progressives want to change the Constitution, they’ll have to do it by Amendments, unless they want the even harder process of calling for a Constitutional Convention. Given how hard it is to do both, good luck with that!

If anyone in Congress votes to give Obama another $3.7 billion dollar slush fund they should be hung by the neck on the Washington Mall right next to Obama and his entire criminal administration.

Where is the $900 billion dollar slush fund the democrat crooks (with the help of a few republicans) gave to Obama in 2009?

No one knows.

What do we have to show for that $900 billion?

NOTHING !!!

What do we have to show for the $7 Trillion Dollars in new debt Obama has racked up in only 5 1/2 years?

NOTHING !!!

You can bet there are a lot of democrats with new fat foreign bank accounts though.

Progressives = softsell Communism. How the HELL can they “reclaim” the Constitution which they only exploit it to subvert the nation (same as the Islamic jihadists)?

Those slush funds will fund Democrat election activity for decades to come.

“Walking around money” isn’t cheap.

That went to fix all of our infrastructure problems with all those shovel-ready jobs. Don't you remember?

Wait, Obama is asking for more tax money for infrastructure problems too...oh...NEVER MIND! Signed Rosanne Roseannadanna!

They HATE the Constitution...

Oh, no — they love the Constitution, provided that they can reinterpret it and that precedence is held in greater regard.

Take a look at the commerce clause, is there anything in a plain reading thereof that would allow the congress to make laws concerning commerce within a state? How about non-commerce? No. Moreover, you won't see anyone noting that the commerce clause has two other parts in addition to interstate commerce: (1) commerce with Indian nations, and (2) commerce with foreign nations. — but those ideas, that congress can regulate anything, are precisely why we have crap like the EPA, the USDA, the ACA, and more.
