Thank you for that review. I wondered how accurate it was. Robert Rogers is a character that has long fascinated me. I
loved the Kenneth Roberts novel about him.

I've read all the Kenneth Roberts historical novels. Spencer Tracy played him when "Northwest Passage" was made into a big budget Technicolor film in the late Thirties.

He was a hero in the French and Indian War, but picked the Loyalist side in the Revolution. He was a guerilla fighter, a man ahead of his time, and his behavior didn't sit well with the British, who wanted to fight like gentlemen.
