I was reading about President Obama’s request for 3.7Billion to address some of the problems at the border and noted this:

Why put wildfires in this? What does this have to do with immigration? So that no Republican Senator or Member of the House can complain about the 3.7Billion. If he or she does, you can be sure the political ad come November will be “….voted AGAINST funds to help fight wildfires here at home…”
These should be two separate bills ..wildfires…and immigration…and then vote on each.

Was wondering why the money almost doubled.
Strip the wildfire money out, and immediately introduce a wildfire bill for the same amount.
If I saw an ad where a pol voted against spending I’d be thrilled.
Fight fires? We gonna train the illegal kids to be firemen now?
Use water tankers to drop water bombs on the people sneaking into the country illegally. (They looked thirsty to me.)
It’s probably because they know a large portion of these illegals will be living in the outdoors thereby causing large numbers of wildfires.
