Todd Starnes told Sean Hannity on FOX News tonight that the illegal immigrant children held at Lackland Air Force base in Oklahoma are bringing diseases into America. The children have tuberculosis, scabies and lice so bad you can see them running down their faces. “It’s one giant emergency room. They tell me tuberculosis has become a very dangerous issue there. Nurses say the number of children representing symptoms of tuberculosis is ‘simply staggering.’ Spitting up blood, chest pains, constant coughing. There are at least three confirmed cases for the illegals in Austin, Texas… The federal government is covering up the threat of the health crisis. They say the kids have scabies. They also say they have chicken pox. And lice so severe they can be seen crawling down the faces of the children.“

In my opinion, that's basically the same thing that Obama is doing when he sends an illegal a letter telling them to appear at a deportation hearing and then calls that deportation even though people are just not showing up for the hearings and are staying here. Due to widespread recognition of his lack of actual enforcement, he is giving the illegals the option to self deport...or not. How is that really any different than what Romney proposed?
furthermore, the only legislation that Romney ever passed in Massachusetts in regards to immigration was passed weeks before he was booted out of office with complete understanding that it would be overturned by Duval Patrick before he even changed the drapes in the governor's mansion-which he did. It was just a political move that he thought prudent at the time so he could pretend to have some kind of conservative credibility in a Presidential election...It was BS, just like his lifetime NRA membership.
And now he's singing a different tune. Now he thinks illegal immigrants should be given a path to citizenship instead of encouragement to "self deport". In his own words:

I agree that Romney’s loss was a disaster to the country and the Republican Party because it brought us an ostensibly lame duck Obamanation doubling down on transforming America into a turd-world nation.
and now he has paid fellow Mormon, Jason Chaffetz(R) to get the ball rolling for yet another disastrous run in 2016. This guy has run for office 4 times and lost 3 times and didn’t even bother to run for reelection as Massachusetts Governor because he knew beyond any doubt that he was going to lose that far out and so he went on to lose the2008 presidential primary instead. And then he went on to lose the Presidential election by 126 electoral votes 4 years later. He lost 8 out of 9 battle ground states in 2012... but he’s gonna bring home the gold for the Republicans in 2016. Riiiight.

I don’t want Romney to run; yet, if he was the only Republican who could win in 2016 I’d still prefer him over any Dem. My choice is Ted Cruz but can he win?
He’ll be counting on that. I don’t think I will vote for him again. Once was enough. If he somehow gets the nomination again, I will vote third party and I won’t say a word when the soak the rich theme comes up again. I’ll laugh about it in fact.

The GOP will not change. The top party officials overtly attack, undermine and backstab their own candidates when they win primaries. More than once, the GOP supported the democratic party candidate against the winner who happened to be conservative.
The conservative base is through playing “Charlie Brown” to the GOPs “Lucy Van Pelt.”

The old guard is dying out. The young crop of elected congress critters such as Lee, Cruz, Paul, and dozens in the House are a different breed. You can not teach an old cow a new trick.
If you do not change GOP, good luck changing the democrat party, the only other option in American politics.

Principled conservatives have been teaching GOPe a lesson for many election cycles already. One or two more lessons, and there will be nothing left of the country to save and resuscitate.
Like Rush says, stop electing democrats trying to teach lessons to GOPe. Self flagellation will cure nothing except leave bloody marks on your body.
