Want to get hung up on about illegal immigration, call Grand Prairie, TX.

Called Grand Prairie, TX, local govt. about their decision to house 2000 illegal immigrants, and I talked to the secretary Lydia and she said that the Fed govt. ordered that Grand Prairie ISD take them in, and then I asked her why doesn't Grand Prairie invoke the 10th amendment and she hung up on me.

I called many more times and got the runaround and finally talked to Grand Prairie city Manager Tom Hart, and asked him him his political affiliation and then he hung up on me.

I am absolutely close enough for a protest on this one.

Yeah, I'm interested in joining any protest that happens at Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins' office. I figure there's got to be tens of thousands of pissed off North Texans who'd also show up.

Some FReepers have mentioned doing a protest, maybe blocking the buses so they can’t unload locally.

Any info on who’s organizing, where, when, etc. and how to contact him/her and volunteer?

If we’re going to make a difference, we need to organize and follow-through.
