Not on Obama’s Texas Itinerary: The Border

San Diego President Obama will visit Texas this week for three political fundraisers. One place he will not visit while in Texas: the Mexican border. A border visit is apparently not necessary, in Obamas view, to monitor the crisis that has seen thousands of migrants including unaccompanied children flood into the United States.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest bizarrely says that people criticizing Obamas failure to visit the border would rather play politics than actually try to address some of these challenges. The president, it seems, will lead from behind once again. All this has been too much for Representative Henry Cuellar, a Democrat who represents the border city of Laredo. They should have seen this coming a long time ago . . . because we saw those numbers increasing, he said today on CNNs State of the Union. Cuellar admitted that our current system creates perverse incentives. There is an incentive that if you bring your child over here, or youre a child by yourself, youre going to be let go. And thats exactly whats happening, he said. Our immigration courts are so backlogged. Theres not enough detention spaces. . . . This is the incentive we have to take away. As for Obamas pledge to send more personnel to the border, Cuellar didnt sound confident: I think hes still one step behind. They knew this was happening a year ago. . . . and they are not reacting fast enough at this time.

Jeh Johnson: The president cant be every place he'd like to be or even should be.. Obviously the US needs to put golf courses along the border. Then the fences might even get built.

Gov Perry first gave Obama a letter at an airport in 2010 about the flood across the border and asking for more agents, or national guard etc
Perry said the other day that he still hasn’t had an answer...

Apparently he can be at fundraisers but not where there is a national crisis.

Obama has given the finger to the country, the congress, the Constitution and the host of nations that once were our allies. He has been a busy little Marxist. He hasn’t time to visit a stinkin’ border town.

Sadly, The Border isn’t on the GOP-E Agenda either, except as a means of scoring political points on their march to legislating Amnesty.

Everyone should call rick Perry and demand that he give up hoping Obama is going to do anything but enhance this invasion.
Honestly anyone with a brain can see this

Everyone should call the WH & demand he meet with Gov. Perry.
Why would he do that after Rick Perry called conservatives "Heartless" for wanting to deport Illegal Aliens?
Rick Perry is another of that brand of Republican who likes to state and do symbolic things that never accomplish anything.
Do you really believe that Rick Perry means to accomplish stopping the influx of Illegals from the Southern Border by sending more DPS officers to the border?
Given his Open Borders positions on everything from AZ1070, to e-Verify, to Comprehensive Immigration reform, you'll see no positive outcome from his much bally-hooed order to send DPS to the border.

Sounds like just the excuse that Rick "Open Borders" Perry would use to show that his hands are tied, all the while he had the authority to call out the Texas Rangers, DPS, and Texas Militia to defend the border.
Will he actually do something that will solve the problem, NO, but he will make a lot of noise like he is trying.
It's the GOP-E, and Rick Perry way of keeping the base under control!
