I have a theory that the human race isn't really conditioned to be "free" at all -- at least in the practical, worldly applications of it. There's a reason why free societies eventually collapse, usually after they are well advanced by any measure.

Just look around you for manifestations of this. I look around and I see a country filled with people who want someone else to do everything for them. And if they're willing to admit it, they want to be told what to do. The "natural" progression of a modern society doesn't result in freedom at all -- it culminates in smoking bans, ObamaCare, and a 911 emergency system where assistance for anything of consequence is just a phone call away.

I’ll take your thought and restate it.

It’s like the second law of thermodynamics.... Population flows from poorer regions to richer regions. Never the reverse

The influx be it slow or rapid, causes governments to adjust and even fail.

The wealth of North America and Europe is producing a population flow from the poor hinderlands to the south.

KNEEL!
Is not this simpler?
Is this not your natural state?
It's the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation.
The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity.
You were made to be ruled.
In the end, you will always kneel!
