Hillary Clinton, who went from flat broke to not truly well off, is really living the dream. At someone else’s expense.
The Washington Post documents some of the pricey speeches she’s been giving at colleges. While a number of them are expensive private liberal arts schools, she made a million or more from speeches given at state colleges.
At least eight universities, including four public institutions, have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for Hillary Rodham Clinton to speak on their campuses over the past year, sparking a backlash from some student groups and teachers at a time of austerity in higher education.
In one previously undisclosed transaction, the University of Connecticut — which just raised tuition by 6.5 percent — paid $251,250 for Clinton to speak on campus in April. Other examples include $300,000 to address UCLA in March and $225,000 for a speech scheduled to occur in October at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
The potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate also has been paid for speeches at the University at Buffalo, Colgate University and Hamilton College in New York, as well as Simmons College in Massachusetts and the University of Miami in Florida.
Officials at those five schools refused to say what they paid Clinton. But if she earned her standard fee of $200,000 or more, that would mean she took in at least $1.8 million in speaking income from universities over the past nine months.
Miami U is currently presided over by Clinton HHS troll Donna Shalala, which I’m sure had nothing to do with this pricey little donation.UC is run by yet another Clinton troll, Janet Napolitano.
No conflicts of interest to see here.

There should be a rule or policy. Political speeches are based upon ticket sales. Give the speaker a split, just like campaign event. Public campuses have to allow candidates from various parties.
It’s common knowledge that most who run and teach in US colleges are American hating socialist democrat hacks. Colleges paying this hag to spew is nothing more than stealing tax and student’s money to fund her campaign. Pay to hear her speak?, hell, I can’t stand looking at her let alone hear her talk.

Yes, we know the Clintons had to establish legal residency in New York for HIllary to run for Senate. But her being broke reeks, when you consider the house they bought cost about $1.7 million. So how broke could they be?
It reeks for Hillary to suggest they were broke, if they spent all their money buying mansions. Remember too, they bought a $2.8 million mansion in D.C. for Hillary to live in when she became a senator. They spent over $4 million on real estate as the time in which they were allegedly broke.
The Clintons were flat broke when he left office??? They earned $357,000 in 2000. And $15 million in 2001!

Clinton Releases 2001-2006 Tax Returns

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton today
released 210 pages of tax returns for 2000-2006, as well as preliminary information about their 2007 return. Here are the eight-year figures:

When I lived in England I was a member of the local geology club at the University of Reading. We would have guest lectures from Oxford and Cambridge. These were world renowned Geology Professors. These were the pioneers that theorized and proved plate tectonics, and the the premier experts in sedimentation, paleo-geology, structure, mineralogy, x ray diffraction, etc. They were the best.
Their compensation was as follows:
1. Their transportation costs to come to Reading and back.
2. Lodging for the night but they often stayed with a local
professor at the University.
3. A good meal at a pub after the lecture.
4. All the beer they wanted to drink.
In todays money it would be about 300 or 400 dollars.
The huge fees that Hillary is receiving is nothing but a political donation by a corrupt University Establishment using public funds. Public funds means you and I.
These students should not just be complaining about Hillary being paid these large sums. They should be investigating who within their university administration decided it would be a good idea to compensate her to this extent. Also I noticed that Bill Clinton has seemed to visit many of the same places that hosted Hillary.
Hillary - stealing from poor, in debt, students.
A quarter of a million bucks for canned pap by a politician??? State schools should get the money back. Clinton screwed them. All they should pay is expenses.
This would justify a campus revolution, but the students cannot do basic math.
Let’s say tuition is $25,000.00 per year at University X.
Hillary is “paid” $250,000.00 for giving a speech.
By the “old fashioned” math I learned, it appears the tuition money of 10 students were scammed out to a politcal hack.
I don’t blame her for taking the money, but the onus should be on the “EDUCATORS” who so blatantly wasted the money ripped from their students.
And Bernie Maddof thought HE was a big operator.
