he will not visit detention facilities at the border housing thousands of illegal immigrant children, the White House said today.
Press Secretary John Earnest said the president is 'well aware' of the humanitarian crisis at the border and doesn't need to see it first-hand during his trip to the Lonestar State.
'The president has a very good sense of what's happening at the border,' Earnest said ...'He's getting regular updates from his officials who've traveled to that region. They're focused on solving this problem.'
'And what the president wants is ... regular reports about what they're seeing on the border, and how resources that are being devoted to processing these--those who have appeared at the border, are being used to effectively administrate justice.

Texas Governor Rick Perry invited the president to come visit the border in person during an appearance on Fox and Friends that morning.
'If he doesn’t come to the border, I think it’s a real reflection of his lack of concern of what’s really going on there,' Perry said.
'If the President of the United States is really serious about securing that border, we can show him how to do that,'

'But I haven’t even had a phone call from this president.'
On Wednesday Earnest said Obama still had no plans to visit the border but he 'wouldn’t rule it out until the day of.'
'Our focus at this point is to plan to do something else,' he said.

On local news tonight (CBS affil.) at 6 we learned that Bryan, TX might be one of the the recipients for a couple hundred of these “undocumented immigrants.” They showed a vacant building that is “owned by the federal government,” and was mentioned as a possible place of residence to these “undocumented immigrants” during this “immigration crisis.” These supposedly were the words in a letter to the city of Bryan from the federal government. The newscaster said that the mayor had appealed to the governor to protest this and something was said about how this would burden the city greatly in the schools.
At 8 p.m. tonight, I got on the tv news website to make a comment regarding their use of the words “undocumented immigrants” instead of illegal aliens (and some other things), not one trace of the news item was there.
Wonder what happened.
Of course Obama won’t be visiting them, due to diseases.
He could give them AIDS.
What, have his wife and girls bring back some gross disease to the WH?
Golf and fund raising are more important than our borders being breached.
I think his fundraiser is in Houston.
He ought to drive through Dallas.
He’s afraid of catching bubonic scabies tuberculosis.
The Secret Service probably won’t let him....too dangerous with all the contagions.
If he visit a golf course in Texas, it will need a high fence and armed guards to keep the “Texas Welcoming Committee” at least a half mile away and out of earshot.
Oh, wait... He says high fences and armed guards aren’t going to keep people out.

..... PREDICTION .... Watch for this verbage of this situation to be magically transformed from the term"Illegal Immigrant or Migrant Children" to the term "Young Refugees" in a successful effort to demonize any verbage against this massive influx of Future Democrat voters.
.... Just think about it ... To even think of sending these poor Child refugees back to their horrid meat grinding countries of origins will be a certain death sentence for these poor innocent defenseless children.

I can’t even imagine the horror and boredom, emotional stress and finally damage being done to these children housed in these concentration camps.

How can that be? It sure isn't plastered over all the TV screens...
A lot of them will likely suffer mental and emotional scars from being separated from parents, herded across the border and warehoused in these facilities. We’ll be on the hook for treating them for life for various mental disorders as a result.
