Physics professor and climate change expert Dr. Christopher Keating is offering a $30,000 reward to anyone who can disprove that man-made climate change is real.
Keating, a professor of two decades at the University of South Dakota and U.S. Naval Academy, has challenged climate change skeptics to prove that man-made global warming is not real. Keating is prepared to offer $30,000 of his own money for the Global Warming Skeptic Challenge, which has an application deadline of July 31.
I have heard global warming skeptics make all sorts of statements about how the science doesnt support claims of man-made climate change, Keating announced on his blog. I have found all of those statements to be empty and without any kind of supporting evidence. I have, in turn, stated that it is not possible for the skeptics to prove their claims. And, Im willing to put my money where my mouth is.

And this guy is supposedly a Physics professor. Sad what this says about the state of science in this country.
And they thought Clint Eastwood could make his point with just a Chair.
What? It's hot in Vegas...in July?? Unreal.
You're right, there MUST be global warming happening.
lol
so basically he is stating that he will pay $30,000 to anyone who can change his closed brainwashed mind?
lol
why would anyone bother?
He should make his check out to Burt Rutan, who has already done that. In effect, he is betting on a game that is already over.
I think it’s incumbent on the people seeking to imposes radical and disastrous measures down on us to prove THEIR case. Not the other way around.
exactly,
quite smart what he has done...its real (he doesnt have to prove anything), prove it isnt. he has turned science on its head.
so anyone who takes this up is already lost, because its real, you are just trying to prove it isnt. also let me guess, everyone will loose, thereby proving again its real.
he gets a triple win, acceptance that its real, you tried to disprove it and cant, look here is more proof, i still have my 30k.
Well, we have Einstein’s equation to cheat off of.
Climate Change.....hmmmmm......we’ll call that C
Now, C has to equal something. Einstein had a constant. What do we have that is constant? Oh....Obama is constantly full of s**t. That sentence is too long, so we have to shrink it to one letter. Let’s see.......one Obama full of s**t can be called an Obamit. That can be shortened to an O. That’s pretty good. Now, we need another letter. Einstein had mass....what can we use?
Money! There’s the answer! We’ll use an M to stand for money. Now we have the equation!
I hereby call this blueunicorn6’s Theory Of Relativescomingtodinner....
C = MO squared
Where’s my money?
$30K? That’s chicken feed?
Think of the billions we’ve paid these morons to show that man made global warming is real and they still haven’t done it.
Urban areas are like ovens. Out in the boonies we have pleasant cool evenings in summer and I love it! The radiant heat from city structures keep the temps up late into the night. Move to the sticks.
One can, if reliable data is available (a significant if) prove that climate change may or may not be occurring, but to prove an anthropomorphic component is not much different a task than the UFO challenge.
I'll give you $30,000 to prove me wrong.
Leni
Man made global warming has already been PROVEN to be a hoax. Read the many thousands of emails released by the East Anglia University hackers. It clearly shows collusion between the “scientist” and climate change advocates (Especially Michael Mann of Penn State hockey stick infamy). The cooked the books to get the results they wanted. IT IS ALL A HUGE STINKING LIE!
Just hand over the money. It already has been proven. Look outside.
Know what no one mentions about the 30k? It is all grant money given to him by the government which means it is our money.
it’s a safe bet there is no “proof” that he will accept
Exactly who will decide whether the challenge has been met and the prize won??
