Something’s afoot — I smell a war being waged against the 4th of July.
Anything at all for the libs to take away from America’s fight for freedom and the celebration thereof.
I tend to agree with you. It’s unfortunate that it turned out this way, but I don’t see malice.
There will be a lot of folks outside, and it would be best to play it safe rather than be sorry later that something went wrong.
The fact that they are celebrating at all, kind of shoots down the idea they were trying to avoid it.
There are times when it’s reasoned to switch things around.
I say this believing weather is a problem. If it isn’t, then I would have to lean back in your direction.
3rd, 4th, 5th, whatever. As long as there’s a good sale at Target or the Toyota store. Right?

Celebrating the 4th of July is offensive to people who celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
This is their country now.

It means a lot to liberals who hate America and worship the idea of a Brown Majority that speaks something other than that damned Anglo Saxon tongue.
I thought it was Cinco de mayo. Like, add a 5th of mayonnaise to that sandwich brother.
The storm will be at North Carolina on Friday.
Still would have been smarter tomove it to the next day instead of earlier.

If heavy rains come, it would be hard to get things cleaned up and prepared in time. Think muddy venues and the like.
I’ve never, ever heard of a 4th of July show being moved up early due to weather in my 20+ years. Maybe someone can correct me?
Columbus Ohio has been doing this for years. And they do have a great fireworks show.
They probably could not postpone it, if the production people for fireworks and sound and lights had commitments after the fourth.
Preponing it may have been the best solution to having the event at all.
And it still may get rained out.
this should not bother you. What would bother me is if they cancelled entirely- this shows that at least the libs care about contracts and possibly the Fourth.
