When talking with Bill O’Reilly, Charles Krauthammer was asked a very simple question Tuesday:
“How do you secure the border, Charles?”
He answered with an equally simple answer:
“You start with a fence. It’s very simple. …If fences don’t work, why is there one around the White House? If they don’t work, why is it that the Israeli fence, which separates Israel from the West Bank, has cut down terror attacks within Israel by 99%? Fences work.”
An interesting thought. Obviously, the border is longer than that of the White House; but the principle stays the same…

I like the fence idea. I am picturing red-hot, high-voltage, razor wire. Yeah.
That and cut off ALL government benefits for illegals, and new citizens of 5 years or less.
—and a fine so high for employing an “undocumented immigrant” that it would put any employer out of business-—
But that’s just the POINT - the Democrats DON’T WANT to cut illegal immigration.
Quite the contrary.
Once all the illegals are made citizens, they’ll be sucking away at the Democrats’ freebies teat for generations, and voting Democrats into office forever.

It would be my guess that there is more concrete fence along the freeways in southern California than it would take for the border fence.
We could also get rid of most invaders too
thats the real money question and we have to find the best solution ASAP.
America is obviously in a real hell of a mess, and we need serious people (forget the politicians) trying to solve some serious problems with ideas and solutions we can build support around and save this republic.
maybe some of those ideas and solutions will be found on threads like this here in FR.
40% of the illegal aliens came here legally and overstayed their visas. A fence only solves part of the problem.
And what should we do with the thousands of children from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras who entered the USA illegally?
Deliver them to their embassies and let them decide what to do with them………

Don’t forget the 1.1 million LEGAL PERMANENT EMIGRANTS who enter annually. Two-thirds or more will be future Dem voters. 27 million legal immigrants have entered this country since 1990. The Dems don’t need amnesty to become the permanent majority party. Amnesty just hastens the process.

Fines are just considered a cost of doing business with these people. Jail the owner or CEO for six months to a year (first offense) and see how much quicker this exploitation stops.
