Cochran and Barbour will hang their man out to dry. Sort of a political lynching, if you will. But they won’t suffer one bit.
If the blacks are smart, and that’s a big IF, here’s their chance to take down the Mississippi republican machine.
The blacks should be insulted that those rich white plantation owners determined their vote is only worth fifteen dollars. “Vote for Cochran and we gonna’ give you fifteen brand new one dollar bills.”
“For real?”
I imagine that’s what happens on those reality cop shows. “Confess to this murder and you’ll be on television and get paid $600.”
“For real? Can I call my cousin Tyrone. He’ll confess to anything for $600!”

I'm sure that even now Rev. Fielder is being offered money to back off his original story. Soon he'll say: "Nobody told me to pay anyone to vote for Cochran. Demon rum made me say those other things."
And then the whole thing will be forgotten. Then Cochran and Rove will get a good laugh out of it.

We’re just going to have to get past this little mess and vote GOPE to gain the senate.
Sure things get a liitle crazy but nothing is more important than taking the senate. Tacky tactics are kinda cool if it broadens our base and we just really must get Harry Reid replaced with Mitch McConell, who really can wrap the rules of the senate around the neck of any Democrat.
He’s probably better than Reid. And take McCain. Now there’s some real power and influence. Do you all even realize how well he knows Hillary?
Let’s just recover our composure and forget about Mississippi. For the greater good we have to sometimes do silly things and it is after all, the “silly season”.
So, anyway I sure hope more Freepers Voting for Fun and the Establishment will hop on over to this thread and help save Cochran and the GOP before all the purists get here.
Honk if you’re for the GOP!

**Reverend Stevie Fielder, associate pastor at historic First Union Missionary Baptist Church and former official at Meridians redevelopment agency, says he delivered hundreds or even thousands, of blacks to the polls after being offered money and being assured by a Cochran campaign operative that Chris McDaniel was a racist.**
And a minister did this. Shame.

Well, well! I hope this translates into real action, going all the way back to McConnell, if there is such a link. This, if true, cannot just be brushed under the proverbial rug. This would be outright serious campaign fraud, with the intent to throw an election.
Dear Lord, please may there be justice done.

Cochran and Wicker might both have to step down, so Barbour can reappoint them to each other’s Senate seats...
