According to the work of Charles C. Johnson and Joel S. Gilbert, what we thought was just a racist campaign to get people out to vote in the Cochran vs McDaniel Mississippi Senate race was the tip of the iceberg. It now appears to be a vote buying scandal right out of the office of Thad Cochran himself:
Reverend Stevie Fielder, associate pastor at historic First Union Missionary Baptist Church and former official at Meridians redevelopment agency, says he delivered hundreds or even thousands, of blacks to the polls after being offered money and being assured by a Cochran campaign operative that Chris McDaniel was a racist. They [the Cochran campaign] told me to offer blacks fifteen dollars each and to vote for Thad.

Thank you RightScoop! (i tipped them off)
Keep this ball rolling!

Just Republicans being Democrats being Republicans.
Yes! This is truly HUGH and quite SERIES! :-D
And, I surely hope it sticks to that crooked Cochran.
And bear in mind, if this pans out, no deadline matters. Apparently according to Mississippi law, if vote buying is proven, its recipient is no longer eligible for office. Thad would lose his seat by default and a special election would be held.
But ideally, we want this seen by a judge now, the result invalidated, Cochran disqualified, and McDaniel declared the winner.
A friend tried to get the Miami Pubbies to do something about the vote fraud in the 1950’s.
I will video him in front of one “church” which was in the deep part of the vote corruption tomorrow and try to post it.
Yes, the commies were involved in it back then.
Cochran and Barbour will hang their man out to dry. Sort of a political lynching, if you will. But they won’t suffer one bit.
If the blacks are smart, and that’s a big IF, here’s their chance to take down the Mississippi republican machine.
The blacks should be insulted that those rich white plantation owners determined their vote is only worth fifteen dollars. “Vote for Cochran and we gonna’ give you fifteen brand new one dollar bills.”
“For real?”
I imagine that’s what happens on those reality cop shows. “Confess to this murder and you’ll be on television and get paid $600.”
“For real? Can I call my cousin Tyrone. He’ll confess to anything for $600!”
I just sent it out on Twitter and to my email list. lol!!!
And then the whole thing will be forgotten. Then Cochran and Rove will get a good laugh out of it.
One can be optimistic without being vulnerable.
$15 to vote for Thad!
Good for you Viennacon for tipping off “Right Scoop”. Story is starting to spread.
"I'll have money separated in envelopes at the office waiting for you"? More popcorn!
We’re just going to have to get past this little mess and vote GOPE to gain the senate.
Sure things get a liitle crazy but nothing is more important than taking the senate. Tacky tactics are kinda cool if it broadens our base and we just really must get Harry Reid replaced with Mitch McConell, who really can wrap the rules of the senate around the neck of any Democrat.
He’s probably better than Reid. And take McCain. Now there’s some real power and influence. Do you all even realize how well he knows Hillary?
Let’s just recover our composure and forget about Mississippi. For the greater good we have to sometimes do silly things and it is after all, the “silly season”.
So, anyway I sure hope more Freepers Voting for Fun and the Establishment will hop on over to this thread and help save Cochran and the GOP before all the purists get here.
Honk if you’re for the GOP!

BFD? BFD? Are you nuts? This is a big deal. If it is true, it will be the biggest political story of the 2014 Political Cycle. Oh.... wait..... Tupelo is your screen name? Oh, ok; you’re a Haley Barbour dude aren’t you?
You forgot LIFE in prison for those involved.
Something smells bad in Mississippi....whew!
