Scottish independence: Hundreds protest over 'BBC bias'

Hundreds of people gathered at BBC Scotland's headquarters in Glasgow to protest over the corporation's coverage of the referendum.

The protestors claimed an "unhealthy bias" existed in favour of the pro-Union Better Together campaign.

Organiser Moira Williams said there was "increasing discontent" about the way the independence campaign was being represented by the BBC.

However, the BBC said its referendum coverage was "fair and accurate".

The Scottish independence referendum takes place on 18 September 2014.

Voters will answer the Yes/No question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?"

I am of Scottish ancestry. As an American, all I can say is that I am beyond thankful that my ancestors left that bunch of tribal primitives behind. It has become a socialist hellhole. All the good ones left.

Now that would be a disaster. I'm in favor of Scots independence actually. Despite what some of the comments upthread say, the Scots IMHO are still a decent and sensible people.

So what I'm hoping is that they get their vote, go it alone with their full bore socialism and hit the skids in very short order. My hope is that is sufficient to slap their collective face and get rid of this Socialist delusion. Easier to turn around a small country than a big 'un (unfortunately for us).
