The Supreme Court has ruled that Hobby Lobby and other closely held for-profit corporations can opt out of the Affordable Care Act's provisions for no-cost prescription contraception in most health insurance plans. The companies' owners had objected on the grounds of religious freedom.

My fellow conservative FReepers,
The U.S. Supreme Court made history today. I believe that this is the first time that a majority of the court has agreed with a plaintiffs argument that LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION!
This is a MAJOR DEFEAT for the abortion industry and liberals who have tried to argue that life only begins at birth.
And does the non severability clause mean the whole thing is shot down in flames?
I hope them and every other Catholic/ Christian group tell Obastard to go pound sand!
Brazilian, Obastard thinks that is what comes after a trillion.
He was the same as me, a part time adjunct instructor. The main difference is that I know what I am talking about when it comes to technical drawing, and he has only heard about this "Constitution thingy."
Thank You, Father, Son and Holy Ghost!
If I were an incrementalist I would probably want the shareholders to declare a religious designation at an AGM or other such meeting rather than their designate, the CEO.
An incrementalist conservative is one who wants baby steps in the right direction rather than just jumping at once to the right answer.
What we need is a POTUS that has a reasonable majority and the will to dismantle a vast percentage of the leviathan, quickly before the Liberals can catch their breath!
The court’s vote on the case was split 5-4. The majority opinion was written by Justice Samuel Alito.
Majority (in order appointed)
by Reagan: Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy
by G. Bush: Clarence Thomas
by G.W. Bush: John Roberts, Samuel Alito
Minority (in order appointed)
by Clinton: Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer
by Obama: Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan
Shocked to see this. Never thought it would happen.
Went to bed praying Sunday night with this on my mind. So happy!
