President Barack Obama channeled Hillary Clintons recent dead broke complaints Thursday, when he told a hard-hit Minnesota woman that Michelle Obamas difficultly with a nanny in Chicago echoed her familys history of repeated layoffs and wage cuts.
Minnesota resident Rebekah [Erier] sent me this letter, and it moved me, Obama told his donors at an evening fund-raiser in Minneapolis, Minn, as he tried to show he is in touch with ordinary peoples concerns.

So. I’m just guessing here, but was the ‘nanny’ a paid government worker assigned to them?

The times when she WAS at that job, it was her responsibility to convince the no-paying losers that showed up there to go to the county hospital so that the University hospital could spend their money on her husband’s fake lecturer job.

So the Worst Couple Ever lost their nanny - TFB!
The kids are just props anyway, like the dog “Bo”. They are part of the background scenery, little cardboard cutouts to show the Current Occupants are somehow “real” people.
The kids may have been better off if they had grown up feral on the streets of Chicago. However harsh, they would have some idea of the real world.

How many working folks can afford a Nanny? But I guess if you grew up with live-in Nannys and house help in Indonesia as Obama did, you might think everyone has this type of help. So he tells someone who is struggling to make ends meet and whose husband had lost his job and had to take one away from the family that he can feel their pain because he and Michelle once lost their Nanny?
How out of touch is that?
To: blueyon
LOL. He’s empathizing with his base with this comment — two-career couples who make well into the six figures who both need, and can afford, an nanny because the wife has a full time career job. Someone needs to tell him that these people are at least part of the top 10% and probably are very close to being part of the evil, dreaded, top 1%.

When I see you, Im reminded of when Michelle and I were starting off early on, and Michelle calling me in tears because we had just lost the nanny and we had no idea whether we were going to be able to replace her with somebody, he said. certainly this is satire--yes????????

Was Bill Ayers not available for the spot? Well, I’m pretty sure Tony Rezko helped the hyper-qualified parents in some fashion get beyond this traumatic situation.
