I can empathize with McDaniel. It’s like being spit in the face. That’s how I felt when the GOP bigwigs backstabbed Palin. Lost all faith, trust and respect for the GOP. It ended my lifelong, exclusive voting pattern for the Party. I leave most ballots blank now, only giving my vote to bona-fide tea-party candidates.
For me as well. Though I was already questioning, the use-and-abuse treatment of Sarah Palin really opened my eyes to the GOP-e. They've done nothing since but alienate me even more, and what happened in Mississippi this election sealed the deal. The GOP-e is DEAD to me!! I don't expect much in the way of "conservatism" to happen in my lifetime (I'm 46) but I pray that my daughters will be a part of a new American awakening.
People are going to have to vote for God in their hearts before they will be able to see any way out of this conundrum. As it is, without God we have multiple paths, all of them knuckling under to evil in some manner.
You should think about voting both candidates, that should keep someone from filling in a vote for you.
Listening to Chris McDaniel today, it seems he was hurt more by the betrayal of his colleagues and friends than the loss. When you think about it, that is a pretty devastating epiphany to realize those you gave your life to, the entity you sought to embrace and serve just whacked off on you... he is a good man. We need to send him money and pray. Have a great day.
