A legendary Special Forces commander was quietly forced to leave the U.S. Army after he admitted to a love affair with a Washington Post war correspondent, who quit her job to secretly live with him for almost a year in one of the most dangerous combat outposts in Afghanistan.
U.S. Army Special Operations Command never publicly disclosed that highly-decorated Green Beret Major Jim Gant was relieved of command at the end of a harrowing 22 months in combat in March 2012.
His commanders charged in confidential files that he had "indulged in a self-created fantasy world" of booze, pain pills and sex in a tribal village deep in Taliban and al Qaeda country with his "wife," journalist Ann Scott Tyson.

many more.
All designed around hetero sex charges (laughable for a military where 98% of 14,000 male sexual assault victims are men on men assaults), and all engineered to demoralize the military and shake the public perception of the (straight) leaders.

no, he is not... from the article:
"I'm the commander. I made those decisions. My men followed my orders," Gant said, his voice filled with heartbreak. "They took part of my soul. Yeah, they did."
Seven of his young troopers were also reprimanded... in my opinion, he had no business asking them to cover for him...
this reminds me of a class we taught when i was in corporate training... it was called Situational Ethics...
Dennis Hopper
She’s a beauty compared to him. He looks old.
Wonder if he would have had to quit if the she had been a he.
The horror, the horror.....
The HORROR, the HORROR.. of being boinked by the democrat party..
And napalm. Lots and lots of napalm. Sticks to muz like sh1t to a blanket.

true , no?
between UAV surveillance and advanced munitions , we could crush the Talib . No border sanctuaries....haven’t we learned a thing in the last 40 years ?
Some have and THEY should be our leadership
Hussein would be jealous.................
Yeah they went native all right. Here's a bet there's a shahada in their future.
Once we pull out Gant should go back and offer himself as the Secretary of War/Defense for the nation of Afghanistan .
For forces : worldwide mercs for core cadre .
LOL!
Wonder how many will get it...
“Anyone know what weapon that is hes carrying?”
Simple underfolder AKM it would appear, the grips appear to be aftermarket addons. It’s not an AMD or variant as near as I can tell, barrel is too long and it looks like it has the wrong muzzle brake.
I do not know about anyone else but I do know that I breathed a sigh of relief when I read that a male Army officer had a female as his mate instead of a two-male situation or a two-female situation.
If he was a deserter or one of 5 terrorists he would been treated better by obama.
Excellent analysis.

Jihadis aren't afraid of dying instantly e.g. shot or blow up. But napalm doesn't kill instantly. It inflicts a shrieking, unquenchable charring death, and it would wear down the Jihadi's zeal to see their comrades burnt to a cinder day after day knowing they will eventually suffer the same.
We could deliver this them to today in greater quantities than we did to Japan in WWII.
