Vice President Joe Biden said during a speech on Tuesday that protecting gay rights trumps national cultures and social traditions, as President Barack Obama's administration continues promoting LGBT rights around the world.
"I don't care what your culture is," Biden told about 100 guests at the Naval Observatory's vice presidential mansion, The Associated Press reported. "Inhumanity is inhumanity is inhumanity. Prejudice is prejudice is prejudice."
He added that the cause is a "defining mark of a civilized nation" and met with a number of religious, human rights and HIV health care advocates in a forum dedicated to promoting gay rights internationally.
White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice added that protecting gay people from global discrimination, abuse and even death is one of the most challenging international issues facing the U.S.
"To achieve lasting global change, we need everyone's shoulder at the wheel," Rice said. "With more voices to enrich and amplify the message — the message that gay rights are straight-up human rights — we can open more minds."
She continued: "Governments are responsible for protecting the rights of all citizens, and it is incumbent upon the state, and on each of us, to foster tolerance and to reverse the tide of discrimination."

Absolutely. Biden has no principles. He worships himself and is ruthless in his attempt to climb to the top. Biden will say or do anything to achieve his goals.

Does it not strike anyone as odd that this administration has made dozens of executive orders, DOJ actions, state department initiatives, etc., in an effort not only to provide gay rights in this country, but to force gay rights on other countries?
When we have the problems on the Mexican border, the IRS, the disaster in the MidEast, The VA melt down.....so much effort is going into promoting gay rights?
Either someone’s priorities are mixed up.........or that someone has a personal interest.
it all depends on what is deservedly called a “right”
when what is being portrayed as a “right” is not do defined in the U.S. Constitution as an inherent LEGAL right - a right the law is concerned about - and the same is true in most of the U.S. states and their Constitutions, in spite of judge’s claims to have miraculously find a “right” hiding in the federal and state Constitutions all along
when in fact, “we the people” have not generally acted to place such a “right” in existence but are being told by judicial dictators that by their “living constitution” they will usurp their limited power, command the powers reserved to we the people and declare to exist that which does not exist
