Your humble correspondent was very careful to put the previous sentence in quotes because I don't want you to think I've taken leave of my senses. This amazing conclusion comes to us courtesy of CNN Money spinmeister Annalyn Kurtz who starts out on a rather gloomy note but manages to spin her way into economic joy:

Economic surge during the Bush years was spun into gloom and now economic decline is spun into joy.

It’s called Obama malaise. The economy is stuck in the mud as his big government policies are stifling free market growth.

“Baghdad Bob” could spin things for the Saddam regime in Iraq, and was sort of the reference standard by which all such propaganda is gauged.
By that standard, with Baghdad Bob being 100, the Current Regime is hitting about 125.
And they seem proud of level of achievement.
The Current Regime should enjoy that pinnacle while they can.

Only under a Dem president could negative growth be construed as a sign of recovery.
The Media hold Republican presidents to much higher standards.

How the rich do in this country is a little different than how the people are doing... I’m sure liberal elites are thrilled with the news. They’re the only group that’s done much better under Obama.

The beatings will continue until moral improves!
The bad winter did effect the economy in the first quarter. It held up every construction projects in the northern half of the country. Many were pushed back into the second and third quarters.
The only thing that sold VERY well in the first quarter was ROCK SALT and other ice melter products.
Rock salt mines were loading trucks 24/7. We had appointments to pick up truckloads rock salt at 2am and 3am on Sunday. You could not buy Calcium Chloride anywhere in the eastern US.
