Charlie Crist has scrapped plans to go to Cuba this summer, citing time demands in his campaign for governor and delays in getting federal permission to visit the island nation.
I had to make a decision, Crist said. Weve got to win this thing, and we cant sap any more of my time or staffs time to the detriment of victory. I need to stay focused on Florida.
Crists about-face was immediately called a flip-flop by Gov. Rick Scotts campaign, and it follows a recent poll that showed his July plans were not popular with Cuban-American voters in Miami-Dade, the states most populous county. suntan charlie is a bottom feeder (literally)
Florida news.
I wonder whose votes he thought he would win by visiting Cuba.
His new Pals on the left won’t like the optics of this sudden scheduling conflict. Many progressives still highly revere Castro, and will see this as a snub by a Republican reject.
Oh, the Miami media JUST LAST WEEK was BREATHLESS with a story about a poll that allegedly said that even CUBANS favored ending the boycott of Castro’s government.
My guess is the media was doing this to help PROP UP Crist....meanwhile, the media IGNORES Charlie Crist and his connection to convicted Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein.

That frozen concoction that helps me hang on
I think there is a 50-50 chance the Dem state senator who got on the primary ballot will beat him
Rabid leftists who are already likely to vote for him.
No one ever accused Charlie of being a master strategist.
Can his ego take one more rejection of that magnitude?
stuck on stupid?
