Republicans in the U.S. House caucused on Thursday and chose U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., to replace U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., as House majority leader. They also selected U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., to replace McCarthy as GOP whip.
U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., weighed in on Thursday after the vote and said he backed U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Ind., over McCarthy but did back Scalise. Yoho also tried unsuccessfully to move the vote back a week.
Yesterday in the House Republican conference I introduced a motion to delay the vote for the majority leader of the Republican Party for one week, Yoho said after the vote.

So Yoho who nobody has ever heard from yoyos himself out so speak when it’s too late to matter.
His primary opponent is Jake Rush. Jake claims to be anti-establishment but he tried to court the Chamber and supported the NDAA amnesty.
You are going to have fake outsider challengers who will try to claim people like Yoho are the establishment candidates. He is probably just putting this information out there if someone tries to tie him to the activities of McCarthy and Boehner.
Yoho is with Steve King on immigration and the challenger is trying to paint him as pro amnesty because he agrees with Grayson that Crimea should not be bombed.

Rep. Cantors immigration policy was his great undoing and quite frankly, given Ted Yohos hypocritical record of saying one thing in the district and doing the opposite in DC, especially given his associations in Washington, such as uber-liberals Alan Grayson and Barbara Lee and the pro-open borders lobby, we cant trust Yoho, concluded Jake.

Immigration
As an attorney and a former sheriff’s deputy, I believe the answer to the illegal immigration is that we must enforce the current laws. Enforcement begins with securing our borders and observing our laws. The failure of the U.S. House to demand enforcement of the immigration system is hurting our economy and damaging the rule of law. However, for those that serve in our military, there should be an opportunity for citizenship. We must also reform our immigration laws to allow the United States economy to capture the productivity of foreign nationals that pursue advanced degrees at our Universities and wish to remain, rather than exporting this knowledge and labor.
I was commenting on his timing. If he is such a good guy he should say something once in a while. I’m not convinced.
Yoho is our rep. He’s a freshman but not afraid to mix it up, unfortunately his newness seems to affect his effectiveness. He is the real deal conservative though and he will be my pick again.
Is there a list of those who voted FOR McCarthy?
