From Michelle Malkin's Twitchy:
Stephen King ✔ @StephenKing
Multiple gunshot wounds last night at Red Rocks. We regulator booze and tobacco; it's time to regulate firearms.
Hey, Mr King, isn’t it time for you to go ride your bike?
Really? Never heard that.
Same here. Stephen King is a genius. LOL
In case anybody wants more info:

Must not have been the same crew that took out “sixpack” in Vegas several years ago.
You mean like, “I can buy it in a convenience store and I need to show ID if I look younger than 35.” Abso-freakin-lutely!! Best liberal idea EVER!
I wonder what kind of drugs he does?
Come to think of it, nobody was armed in The Stand, so this gun fear must go WAY back. Maybe we should tweet him back ‘where’d you pick up this phobia?’
Good point. Also, like one of the fools he rights about in his books, Stevie appears to want the government to control the people that they rule over. That's not the way freedom is supposed to work. It might serve Stevie well to read a book about what happened in America that lead to the Revolutionary War and independence for the American people.
Yes it is! Totally agree!
We've essentially been treating guns as we did with "intoxicating liquors" after the 18th amendment, and doing so for quite awhile, with thousands of laws. So, in perfect agreement with your point, let's now proceed to the remedy of the 21st amendment treatment of guns as with intoxicating liquors.
“Insomnia” was good aside from the crazy right wing terrorist trying to fly a plane full of explosives into a NARAL conference.
In defense of the crazy right winger, he was under the influence of Atropos the supernatural little bald doctor with a scalpel.
I thought the world was a lil more back on kilter this morning.
Welcome back.
If Red Rocks doesn’t want any more shootings, all THEY have to do is ban rap concerts. Problem solved.
Is that what it was, a rap concert?
A stupid statement to be sure. Guns have an incredible amount of regulations.
The real question is: What isn’t regulated in this ‘free’ country?
On the other hand, Booze and tobacco are legal, as are firearms.
The lack of knowledge about The Constitution by these self proclaimed “intellectuals” is truly frightening
So let’s ban all his writings. How you like that idea, Mr King? The First and Second Amendments be damned.
Since he want to equate unrelated items:
I agree with the handgun vending machine.
Welcome home.
Handgun vending machines should be in airports and schools.
...and crack, meth, and whores behind the store.
