I think Hilliary’s the Dem’s Bob Dole of 2016 with “It’s my turn”. I think she stepped aside in 2008 with the promise of full backing from Democratic party (yes that include media).
Hill’s problem is the Dems including the media are dishonest by definition. If they don’t think they can drag her fat butt across the finish line, they’ll cut and run in a heartbeat.
