President Barack Obama's approval rating on handling issues of immigration has fallen to its lowest level since 2010, amid diminished prospects for comprehensive reform legislation and a burgeoning humanitarian crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Just 31% of Americans approve of the job Obama's doing on immigration, according to a new poll from Gallup released on Friday. Meanwhile, disapproval ratings on the issue have soared to 65%. Together, it represents an 18-point swing from 10 months ago, a short while after the Senate had passed immigration-reform legislation.
Obama's approval rating has fallen among all parties. At 90%, Republicans give him their highest disapproval rating ever on the issue. And approval among self-identified independent voters and among voters in his own Democratic Party have each dropped 8 points.

Why does anyone think Obama cares what his approval rating is? (Who are we peasants to even have an opinion of his inspired leadership?)
Remember, he’s already faced his last election so he has plenty of “flexibility”.
I expect that none of these 31% can vote legally in this country.

My point is that Obama and his controller Valerie Jarrett really aren’t even that concerned about how the midterm elections will go. They have put into place a massive far-left bureaucratic shadow-government whose regulations are overwhelming legislative initiatives, they are in the process of flooding the country with far-left immigrants who will keep the White House in Progressive hands in 2016 and Obama has established that his executive orders trump all other branches of the government.
The midterms are just a side-show to keep the rabble distracted while America continues to be “fundamentally changed”.
I just sent this or a variation thereof to my Texas Senators and House reps. Please consider doing the same and demand that Congress use the power of the purse to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into this country. If the feds won’t follow the law, Texas will lead the way in doing so, but it takes money. Money that is being wasted elsewhere! Let them know how you feel about illegal immigration and NO AMNESTY for law-breakers:
Please help us here in the border state of Texas and in all the other border states to stop this insanity. Please stop all funding that the DOJ (Department of in-justice) is using to hire lawyers for these law breakers at taxpayer expense and re-route that money to compensate these states for expenses incurred in doing the job the federal government and Obama will not do.
Excess monies I’m sure can be found in White House staff salaries, salaries of the unconstitutional czars Obama has illegally appointed, the President’s and first ladiy’s travel budgets and those of useless unconstitutional departments such as the DOE, EPA, IRS and other organizations that make the taxpayer’s life a living hell. You could also stop all foreign aid to the countries that are sending these illegals here and put that same money to use by keeping them from crossing our borders.
This fight will take money and only the Congress has the power of the purse. It will take money to hire and pay the people who will do the job the government won’t do. Also, it will take money to send these people back to the countries from which they came. We would appreciate your help. As a concerned citizen and Texan, I thank you

We’ll see soon enough. I’ve long felt that Obama was mostly a figurehead - the real power is wielded by Jarrett and people like George Soros. What’s going on with the border collapse and the “National Popular Vote” initiative is designed to keep Obama’s handlers in power long after he’s moved on to better things.
What Barack loves to do is make speeches and play golf - I honestly think he believes that being president is beneath him. I fear he’ll end up as UN Secretary General, with a compliant progressive in the White House continuing to roll out global government with the US as a third-rate client nation.
