WASHINGTON (AP) — Leading Republicans on Thursday insisted that America's leaders must do more to defend Christian values at home and abroad, blaming President Barack Obama for attacks on religious freedom as they courted social conservatives expected to play a critical role in the next presidential contest.
"Those of us inspired by Judeo-Christian values...have an obligation to our country and to our fellow man to use our positions of influence to highlight those values," Florida's Sen. Marco Rubio said at a conference hosted by the Faith and Freedom Coalition, a group led by long-time Christian political activist Ralph Reed.

He doesn’t even enforce the basic laws of his country, which he swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend.
I do not believe Obama is a Christian - his deeds/works/’fruits’ betray him as anti-Christian as a minimum.

Oaths mean nothing to communists.
It wasn’t long ago that an atheist’s testimony was inadmissible because atheists oaths are meaningless.
This is just so much political bloviation and pie in the sky wishful thinking.
He won’t defend the Constitution which is the basis of protection for those values, why would he directly defend those values.
It’s left to the american people as a whole to take action to force his compliance with his oath of office or force his removal. Praying for it to happen and wishing for it to happen is no more effective than those who prayed for Hitler to come to a revelation. God expects all of us to take the right actions but he isn’t going to strike the dictator dead or turn his mind no matter how hard we pray for that.
But he was RAISED a Muslim and IS a Muslim supporter.
Christians are the PROBLEM to him.
It doesn’t matter what the RIGHT thing to do is, nor what his JOB (according to our Constitution) is.
This potus will NEVER defend the rights of Christians in this country and will do everything he can to see that their status as citizens and human beings are lessened from here on. Until they’re gone for good. Period.
This was part of his “Fundamental Change” promise.
We don’t need emotional speeches from politicians on matters from immigration to “values”.
I think a key “value” is telling the truth and acting accordingly and 95 percent of the Republicans aren’t doing that right now.

obama is a muslim supporter and ONE OF THEM.... plain and simple... look at his actions, not his lies.
But what ARE the right actions? We voted against him. Didn’t help, even though I believe a SOLID majority did the same.
What are the right actions, indeed.
Everyone tiptoes around what we know might be needed and coming but nobody wants to admit what this abominable situation is coming to.
Every single morning every true american and patriot needs to read to themselves the opening paragraphs from Common Sense. We need to remind ourselves that this country has faced true tyranny before and that we may need to once again.
