BALTIMORE (AP) — A second Baltimore officer has been suspended while the department investigates his role in the slitting of a dog's throat, while the animal's owner says it took her days to find out how the dog died.
Court documents say Officer Thomas Schmidt held the dog down while a fellow officer cut the animal's throat on Saturday. Schmidt has been suspended with pay during the investigation, Baltimore Police spokesman Jeremy Silbert said.

It’s just a convenient way to get around having to file a report in connection with the discharge of a firearm. I look forward to reading that some good citizens rounded these guys up and slit their throats (after the spend a couple of years in jail with the guys that the arrested). As the police “spokesman” said, there are no words to describe this.
I would like to punch his ugly fat face. The dog was already restrained. She had identification. She was lost. She was scared. And this fat creep just murdered her. Rot in hell. If this guy can do this to a scared, helpless, RESTRAINED creature, he will do it to anybody.

In the name of G-d, how do you justify SLITTING THE THROAT of a scared lost dog? Is that what you would do with a scared lost kid, too?
It is terrifying that this psychopath is authorized to carry a weapon. I hope he and his partner are jailed for a very very long time and lose their jobs and pensions.
The left wants to disarm law-abiding Americans so that only the "authorized" may have weapons. If the authorized include the likes of people like this guy, is it any wonder why Americans are skeptical of intent?

Immediately call 911 and tell the dispatcher that somebody killed your dog; you don’t know who, but could they please send somebody to investigate.
When the rest of the JBT’s show up to beat information out of you, tell them when you got home you found your dog dead and nobody was around.
That’s your story and your sticking to it.
I am trying to wrap my mind around this...but just can’t seem to get there. Maybe I’m dense or having a blond moment.
I don’t get shooting dogs at the drop of a hat. But I SURE don’t get one officer holding down a restrained dog while another officer slits it’s throat.
Slits it’s throat??? That’s about as crazy as it gets.
