A thought ‘nation-building’ was a dirty word with Obama?

America cannot win any Military operation with Taliban-friendly Obama as Commander in Chief.

Could you imagine England demanding the Lincoln resign and that a unity government be installed to keep America unified?

If, as it appears, the Shiite resistance is all that is presently keeping ISIS at bay, then Maliki’s resignation would be good for ISIS. US involvement would be a PR and recruitment boon for them too. A “unity government” would be DOA in the current situation. Could the White House possibly not know that?

Sure. The reason why our fearless leader wants this is so that the AL Quaeda gang can have a seat at the table in the new Iraq. The ruthless, vicious, violent terrorists who are now in process of taking over Iraq.
He is not acting in the best interest of the USA, but for his bosom buddies. No surprise here.

Nice, Obama wants to capitulate to terrorists. Again.

I demand he resigns.

Do we not see a pattern yet?

Qaddafi must go. Who will replace him? The Muslim Brotherhood.

Mubarak must go. Who will replace him? The Muslim Brotherhood.

Abbas must go. Who will replace him? The Muslim Brotherhood.

Maliki must go. Who will replace him? The Muslim Brotherhood.

If Obama has any sort of consistency to him, it's that he consistently calls for the removal of resistance to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The player to be concerned about in all this is Saudi Arabia. They are openly opposed to any outside involvement, which would include Iran or the US or the UK. What happens when the Saudi-US relationship is broken?

This is a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia. The ramifications are beyond my ability to fathom, but pray for Israel.

It’s now beyond the ability of the US to engineer a satisfactory outcome. Thanks to Obama, the only half-good option is to stay away and hope for the best. And as you say, be true to our commitment to Israel.

He will never be true to Israel. If there’s a nation he hates more than the U. S., and I know that is a very long shot, it would be Israel.

>> Maliki’s government has rejected calls for the prime minister to quit. His spokesman,Zuhair al-Nahar,said the west should focus instead on providing immediate military help to the Iraqi <<

Excuse me? We’ve provided plenty of help in training, blood, and treasure.

Fight for yourself or die. Your choice. No more blood from us!!

We don’t even have many friends on Capital Hill, if you think about it.
