Another member of the U.S. House has joined the conversation about the possibility of impeaching President Obama for illegal activities, confirming his colleagues probably would vote for the move.
The comments come from Rep. Lou Barletta, R-Pa., in an interview with radio host Gary Sutton.
“We have a president who has taken this to a new level. And it’s put us in a real … position where he’s just absolutely ignoring the Constitution, ignoring the laws, ignoring the checks and balances,” he said.
“The problem is, what do you do? … For those who say impeach him for breaking the laws or not enforcing the laws, you know. Could that pass, in the House? It probably, it probably could. Are the majority of American people in favor of impeaching President Obama? I’m not sure,” he said.
He cited the recent primary election loss for House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va.
“I think what happened in Virginia is what you’re going to start seeing around the country. … They’re going to look at their specific member of Congress and their own U.S. senator. If they don’t feel you’re standing up for them, they’re going to throw you out and they’re going to send somebody else there.”

Congress protects Obama to protect THEMSELVES.
The main obstacle to Impeaching Obama is the cowardliness of the Republican House Members to vote Boehner out as Speaker.
With Boehner just a regular House Member, Obama could be Impeached before Labor Day.
With Boehner as Speaker, Obama will continue to “Fundamentally transform the United States of America,” and enjoy every minute of it.
Many have not been paying attention and some are in denial. If the substantial number of charges are laid out, clearly supported and made public, there is no question IMO that a majority in America will support impeachment and removal.
if articles of impeachment are filed and pass, and there is a trial in the senate, just make sure that chester trent lott isn’t involved in setting the rules for the trial.
Yes, let us begin to seriously talk about it. There is so much to be deliberated, and from so very many perspectives. Let’s do talk (loudly) on the topic. But first order of business, offload certain RINOs who would prevent this “Impeachment Party” from ever getting started. We must replace Boehner and Kevin McCarthy if he is chosen to replace Cantor. I am almost preferring to absorb a loss with McConnell this fall, just to sweep him off the decks once and for all.

Only the Senate can remove him from office...and for that we will need a 2/3 vote in said Senate.

Even if Repubs took the Senate, there are so many RINOs out there now I doubt they would get anything accomplished and we’ll have this jackass for another 2 years until the Hillary/Warren administration takes over in 2017 which will be like nuking the Titanic while it’s sinking.

But as we all remember from the Nixon trial...these things develop a momentum of their own.
Obama is far worse than Nixon, but is protected by the issue of Racism.
