HOUSTON, TexasState Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perrys (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, It is going to happen.
Riddle spoke with Governor Perrys office about the issue and was assured it is going to be coming soon. She said Governor Perrys office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhursts office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.
They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away, Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.
Riddle said, We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houstons role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations. She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.
Riddle said, Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem. She went on to say, I didnt expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

Are You Going To Remain A Republican in light of todays gutless actions by both the Senate and House? This was the last straw for me; Im done! I will be switching my party affiliation tomorrow.
______________________________________________________
Not sure what your point is here Norm? I voted in the presidential election in November 2012, for Romney. My post here was from Jan 1, 2014 in reference to the House and Senate?
Nice diversion Norm, but the fact remains, you and others who didn’t vote, helped Obama secure a 2nd term, bringing us to the destruction we see before us today.
Edit:
“Jan 1, 2014” should read: Jan 1, 2013.
I voted Art. I am in AZ it wouldn’t have made a difference if I HAD voted for the POS. He landslided the right into liberalism here just fine without me.
Fact remains, you and the others that voted for him gave the COP carte blanche to lurch right, just as we told you they would and exactly as history shows they did. Deny it all you like. It’s a fact.
That isn’t something you should be proud of accomplishing after losing on top of it.
The state will be swamped with volunteers to man every inch of the border.
It would be cheaper in the long run.
Leni
Just adopt Mexicos southern border policy.
I hope this ends with a Perry/States Rights and Obama/Feds confrontation.
Here is an interesting comparison of two Dictators when losing became obvious and inevitable:
* Hitlers Fast tracking of Death Camps and
* Obamas Fast flooding of Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico.
IMHO: both Dictators saw their fast actions efforts as THE FINAL SOLUTION.
For Hitler, The Final Solution was for the destruction of the Jewish population.
For Obama, the Final Solution was for the destruction of the core values of America.
Hitler had his Peace in our Time British PM Neville Chamberlain.
Obama had and still has his rubber-stamp, US House Speaker Crybaby Boehner.
“....but the fact remains, you and others who didnt vote, helped Obama secure a 2nd term, bringing us to the destruction we see before us today.”
Not really. Dear leader is just a symptom of a one party political system that would wreak destruction regardless of the actor. Rather than doing something useful, we spend our time squabbling over which of these perfumed princes would serve us better. Little realizing that regardless of which one we pick they will serve us very well...as the main course.
Me too. It may as well happen here and now. Because will happen eventually.
I Don’t trust Perry. But I do trust that when backed against a wall, he will not simply fold. But UNTIL that happens, he will revert to type.
Obammie the Commie set the precedent that the Executive can do whatever he wants...recess appointments when the house is not adjourned, arming of Al Qaeda through Benghazi.
Perry ought to just call up his state’s Nat. Guard and deploy them, swap supplies with other states.
I don’t know. Just trying to figure out ways to “stick it to the man,” who is now the one that used to loathe “the man.”
The Governor can activate National Guard (Air & Army) forces under USC Title 32. Texas also has a “Texas State Guard” for just this type of emergency, we have the Rangers, and Sheriffs have deputation authority. We will be OK. Come on down...
That’s about it.
Now Obama will really going to go rogue. He doesn’t care what people think or who he hurts, including Dems.
Obama is going to become more obstinate than ever.
Perry hates Obama and I think/hope that hate will give him the gumption to do the right thing.
Becoming the thing you hate has a long tradition of popularity once power enters the picture.
Yes, Yes, Yes...
Obama purged the brass and drove out many good enlisted for a reason.
Yep, there would be no shortage of deputies who have their own weapons.
I think you are projecting.
Perry is thinking about 2016.
The action Perry will take will be symbolic, not substantive.
The only type of leader that will truly take bold action are those with the a Warrior mindset when it comes to Liberty (Example is William Wallace)
Imminent? Yeah, well, I’m not holding my breath. Just heard on the 10 o’clock news that Perry says Texas doesn’t have the money to deal with the border problem. So, which is it?
Perry detests Obama and maybe that will give him the gumption to do it right.
I hope Perry is in touch with Susana Martinez and Jan Brewer. Brown would be a waste of time.
