Medical science is making bold new leaps every day. Not only is there a new medication out that is just like the old medication, except it costs 10 times as much, but the American Medical Association has decided that gender is purely imaginary.
For thousands of years, human ignorance convinced us that there were two genders. Now the AMA says that gender is imaginary. You can be any gender you want. Change gender every week. Or every day.
We’re in Hopechangeistan now. Biology, like economics and military science, are purely imaginary fields. “Science” says so.
In other action Monday, the AMA said transgender people should be able to switch the sex designation on their birth certificates without having sex-change surgery.
Most states make the operations a prerequisite. But the new AMA policy acknowledges that gender identity doesn’t always match a person’s birth anatomy.

Since everyone knew that sex change operations didn’t actually switch genders, the AMA has conceded that reality. Transvestites are now transgender. Men in dresses are women.
We are now in a golden age of politically correct science which says that sexual orientation is set genetically at birth,but that gender is fluid and changeable.
And if you claim gender is real, that’s a hate crime.
The AMA is about its coding system. A relatively small % of practicing doctors belong, but have to use its coding system for diagnoses and billing. Maybe the patent office can claim some denigrating factor there and remove the AMA’s ownership of that coding?

Feh - molecular genetics is only a SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. How can you say that Watson, Crick, and Wilkins’ work is valid when there were no people of color involved?

And this is why the relevant category separating people in athletic competitions, bathrooms and the like is sex not gender (which was originally a grammatical notion until the left decided to use it as a Newspeak word for sex or whatever their social engineering would like to replace sex with as suits them at the moment).

This whole ridiculous argument rests on a contrivance: that there is some difference between sex and gender. No one — not even the loons at the PCAMA — would argue that you can change your sex simply by changing your mind. But if they can invent some fallacy like “gender,” then they can apply whatever lies they want to it.
There is no such thing as gender, unless it is used as a synonym for “biological sex.” The ROLES and behaviors traditionally associated with each sex may be real, but “gender” is nothing but a po-mo lie.

By today's 'enlightened' thinking, no, it would not mean I wasn't an eagle. It would me that my true eagle self has a disabiliy. I would then be entitled to a disability check and species reassignment surgery....at your expense.
No, but given this precedent it would mean that everybody else would be forced to pretend that you could.
