President Barack Obama has acted so unlawfully that he 'probably' wouldn't survive an impeachment vote in the House of Representatives, Republican Rep. Lou Barletta told a radio host on Monday.
'Hes just absolutely ignoring the Constitution, and ignoring the laws and ignoring the checks and balances,' the Pennsylvania lawmaker told News Radio 910 WSBA personality Gary Sutton yesterday.
'The problem is, what do you do?' Barletta continued. 'For those that say impeach him for breaking the laws or bypassing the laws could that pass in the House? It probably could.'
'Is the majority of the American people in favor of impeaching the president? Im not sure about that.'
'I don't think so,' the Pennsylvania radio host can be heard telling Barletta in audio of their conversation captured by Buzzfeed's Andrew Kaczyinski.
Barletta made the comments during a discussion on illegal immigration after Sutton argued that the president wasn't 'faithfully executing the laws of this country.'
'Well we have a president that has taken this to a new level,' Barletta said of Obama's actions before explaining how he thinks impeachment proceeding would hypothetically play out in the House.

The House of Representatives probably does have the votes to Impeach, but I can pretty well guarantee you that the Senate does NOT have the votes to CONVICT!
The Kenyan has replaced the U.S. Constitution with a phone and a cheap pen made in China.
For those that don’t recall - Barletta was the Mayor [Hazelton] that threw all the illegals out of his town. Obviously, that’s how he got elected to his house seat.
Because he intends to destroy America, and rebuild it in his own image on our ashes.
Obama is making a MarxoFascist omelet and he has to break some eggs.
Impeachment?? Give it six months til after the election. Obama is spiraling in, in ever tighter circles.
‘The problem is, what do you do?’ Barletta continued. ‘For those that say impeach him for breaking the laws or bypassing the laws could that pass in the House? It probably could.’
LOL. That’s one way to win an election. Deport all your opponent’s voters.
Come on folks, impeachment ain't gon'a happen. No one in the legislative branch of government has the gonads to make it happen.
On the slime chance that impeachment were to happen, it would be Clinton all over again ... nothing would be accomplished, nothing. And the current dictator in chief would just go merrily on his way, thumbing his nose at the Constitution.
The only “man” standing between Obama and Impeachment of Obama is crybaby Speaker Boehner.
Remove Boehner now, and Obama get Impeached by Labor Day, 2014.
Make the case. Build public support. Make the Senate vote. Then make any “no” votes be millstones around their neck.
I looked it up. Apparently it was never enforced, and now it’s been “thrown out”!

Before he took his place as a rank-and-file congressman, Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) was a go-it-alone, illegal-immigrant-busting, small-town mayor of Hazleton, Pa., population about 25,000.
Hazleton, nestled in Northeast Pennsylvanias coal region, hit the national stage in 2006 when Barletta pushed through one of the nations strictest anti-illegal immigration ordinances, including a provision that penalizes landlords who knowingly rent to illegal immigrants.
A lawsuit over the never-enforced statute has ping-ponged through the court system since then, with a Philadelphia-based federal appeals court most recently striking it down. The Supreme Court declined to hear Hazletons appeal Monday.
Barletta, now nationally well-known (or infamous, depending on perspective), rode chest-puffed to Congress on the 2010 Republican wave. He told the Loop on Monday that while very disappointed in the high courts decision, he will not give up his quest to weed out illegal immigrants.
Thats the end of it, Barletta said sourly, though he cited another federal appeals court ruling that upheld a similar law.
Well, how much of a millstone has it been for those Clinton supporters in the Senate? ... :-) ...
Therein lies the problem - the MSM spent 9 months hammering Nixon until the will to punish him materialized among the public. Today they're still covering the Kenyan Klowns arse, as they have been for five solid years.
The GOP will have to get creative and develop a strategy for educating the American people on the danger this man presents to their country and liberties.
But there I go again assuming the GOP wants to stop him.
It didn’t happen ...
I know the landlord law never got enacted, but if I recall, he was instructing police officers to check ID and deport more than a few roaches.
You’re right. Boehner has been the main facilitator of Obama.
“The Kenyan has replaced the U.S. Constitution with a phone and a cheap pen made in China.”

Correct!
It’s the Senate that is the real problem, and not the House of Representatives. And so, since the House knows that it will never make it through the Senate, that puts a real big damper on any action in the House!
Do your f'in job.
By not impeaching Obama, every member of Congress is failing the Constitution and the Country.
