The U.S. Senate on June 17 confirmed three federal judges nominated by President Barack Obama. The White House, in a statement released hours later, said each judge will be a "trailblazer on their courts."
Judge Darrin Gayles, confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, is the first openly gay African American man to be confirmed as a lifetime-appointed federal judge.
Staci Yandle, confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, is the first African American to serve on that court and the first openly gay lifetime-appointed federal judge in Illinois.
With the Senate actions, Obama has now appointed more female judges than any other president, breaking the record previously set by President Bill Clinton.

While that may indeed be true ... did you notice that one confirmation was 98-0? Make sure that you know who ALL your enemies are.
I’m wondering how many RINO senators go along.
I wonder where they stand on gay marriage?
You answered mine. Gotta be fast these days!!
Yeah. So uh...who voted for this? Apparently everyone.
Yet another primary point.
All of the Senators went along. It was a 98=0 vote on one of them. I don’t know who didn’t vote. That looks like a complete RINO infestation to me.
Why does that have to lead the labeling efforts by the media?
When Obama owns the judges ,he also owns the United States ,2012 was the Last Presidential Election
Persecution is already here but they want to make the penalties harsher for Christians. Wait until the gays figure out they’re on the Islamic endangered list too after they’ve expended their usefulness.
Ernst Roehms being seated for the coming persecution
Exactly. Sad ain’t it?
Are they disqualified from ruling on cases where Gays are involved or will they take all Gay cases ?
It seems that there are quite a few queer Blacks. Is homosexuality common in the black community? Would explain the high amount of AIDS in Africa.
And that's one big reason to not sit on your hands on a Presidential Election even though your party's candidate is more liberal than you would like.
Nominating judges, majority in Congress trumps sitting the election out.
Agree
So much progress... makes my head spin.
