KFC Corp. says it's investigating allegations that an employee in Jackson, Mississippi, asked a 3-year-old to leave a restaurant because her facial injuries frightened other patrons. A spokesman says KFC is also giving $30,000 toward her medical bills.
The allegation was made Thursday on "Victoria's Victories," a Facebook page following Victoria Wilcher's recovery from a pit bull attack in April. Photos show her facial scars and cartoon-decorated eye patch.

She is a beautiful little girl. If she were mine I would kiss her scar every morning and tell her "she is the most beautiful girl in the world."
Here from DM:
Following a visit to the doctors, Victoria and her grandmother, Kelly Mullins, went into a KFC.
‘I took her to the doctor and I went to KFC,’ Wilcher’s grandmother, Kelly Mullins, told WAPT.
‘I ordered a large sweet tea and her some mashed potatoes and gravy because she was hungry. She was on a feeding tube at the time, but I figured she could just swallow (the potatoes).’
Wth was she doing taking this little girl on a feeding tube at the time to a KFC for any reason???
Good move from KFC. Bad move with the grandmother having 3 pit bulls around a small child. I just don’t think too much about that nor the grandmother. I hope the little girl gets all of the help that she needs. An adult should never put a child in a dangerous situation as this family did. The person at KFC; needs some compassion verses hammering on a little child. The family caused this tragedy, in my view.
She really does not look that bad. There is no excuse for being vicious and rude to anyone, esp. when you are a place of public accommodation.
Any dog can be dangerous, esp. to a small child. Truly the fault lies with the adults who were watching her, whether the dogs were well trained or not. She’s only 3 now, she was very little when this happened to her. Only a damn, stupid fool would leave a little baby unguarded around big dogs of any breed. Or even little dogs, or a cat, any animal. This child can pull their tale, or startle them, unknowingly and the animal then hurts the child.
Why do these grandparents have custody of this child in the first place?
This is a quote from Grandma: "Now when we go somewhere, she don't want to get out".
And another: "She's got a lot of surgeries to go through and she won't even look in the mirror anymore".
Maybe these grandparents aren't the best choice for this child.
You missed the early pictures of when she went to KFC. She was even on a feeding tube.
Victoria’s grandfather and his girlfriend were charged with child endangerment and their eight other pit bulls were seized by animal welfare.
Sadly though, the mother has NOT posted this information on the FB page. They have donations pouring in according to something she posted there but not sharing that KFC is donating seems dishonest to me.
This poor kid had just spent a month in a hospital bed, and then right after a doctor visit, while the poor kid is on a feeding tube, this goofy grandmother decides to parade her around her local KFC all to get a mere side order of mashed potatoes that she was taking upon herself to feed her and could get at the take-out window.
If I were KFC I would not send a dime to this grandmother’s charity but set up a separate fund for this little girl’s surgeries.
Raise his wage to $15/hour minimum! Now...you racist!
Don’t forget, life time of free KFC.
She looks like she is a strong and happy little girl.
I believe that she will come out of this stronger that ever.
Good, should have been more than 30k though.
I posted this article to the Victoria’s Victories FB page and it was IMMEDIATELY (within 5 minutes) taken down. They have people pledging to send money so she can go to Disneyland and everything else on there.
Not saying this child should suffer or go without, but it would seem to me that my posting was taken down because it would interfere with people pledging to send money. I think the family or whomever is running this page is hoping to get a fair amount of $ from this incident.

Oh, yes. They should be very ashamed of not taking any responsibility to what happened to their very own granddaughter and child. People are giving. They have posted 2 addresses that I have seen. Some kids have terrible parents/grandparents. I will pray for the little girl.
When I was 24, I had cancer removed from my face. I had extensive plastic surgeries, huge black stitches, blood clots and heavy bruising (that had all colors of the rainbow) which lasted several weeks. When I was able to venture out for groceries, the stares and whispers were just awful. Even a month afterwards, I would be out with friends and see people drop napkins, stretch and yawn loudly in an effort to not look so obvious when trying to catch a glimpse of my still bruised and heavily scarred face.
The scars from my surgeries and recovery have faded but they never will from people’s cruelty. I can understand curiosity, but most of the stares, finger pointing and whispers were from adults who thought I had been beaten.
A pox on the KFC employee’s house. That little girl’s fleeting smile is worth more than your pathetic, worthless, empty life. Enjoy spending the rest of your life looking in the mirror and seeing you staring back.
It would be one thing to post the little girl's story and pictures of her injuries, and then ask for help, but to shamelessly malign someone who had nothing to do with her injuries as part of her request is contemptible.
I learned "There goes I but for the grace of God" but I would have still have looked away from you.
No pox to the employee. Pox to the Grandfather and his 11....yes eleven...pitbulls.
It’s absolutely nobody’s business to question if she should be in public. That injury is her reality. Anyone who would use her appearance to injure her a second time should be removed from public with prejudice.
